For those of us who can't run, this was a godsend. While I can walk okay, the trouble is increasing the difficulty by going faster means at some point you need to run and that's a no-no with knee replacements. Rucking (a weighted vest in my case) lets me increase the affects without spending hours at it.

I follow the jailhouse strong programs from 2015 with great physical and mental results. The Rucking gains contains clear instructions about how and why we should ruck. It will be a great combination with the interval strong programs to prepare for anything in life. Be Gas Station Ready !

The author offers an easy and fun read, provides step by step instructions for entering the sport, and supplies programming for both beginners and tactical athletes who want to improve their performance. Additionally, the reader will find a strength training program to use in conjunction with their weekly rucks. If you have ever been interested in rucking or simply want to try something new, you should give this title a shot.
This book doesn’t waste your time. If you’re familiar with Josh and Adam’s work, you know it starts with a relatable story of meeting a sage that shows him a new training technique, followed by science, followed by how to get after it. Where he really hits a new high-water mark on this one is explaining who this good for (soldiers vs. general health goals), and how and why you should level up. You won’t get in over your head following this plan.
