Bought this for my best friend for her birthday and it smells amazing!!!! DONT LET THE CILANTRO PART SCARE YOU OFF I wish i would have got 2 because now Im ordering 1 for myself and have to wait 2 days to burn it.

I am very disappointed in this candle. I have been buying authentic Yankee Candles for 20+ years and I’ve never had such a low quality dud.
This candle had no scent and the wick burned so quickly that I had to dump out wax so the flame would stay lit. Even after dumping out wax, the wick burned unusually fast (for a Yankee candle).
I went out and bought a comparable Yankee Candle from a reputable, authorized dealer and the difference was night and day.
The candle I purchased from the dealer was exactly what I was used to seeing in a real Yankee Candle.
I have a feeling this was a fake Yankee candle, but have no way of proving it.

The scent is amazing, but I remember being able to smell one yankee candle through the entire house. I don’t know if the formula has changed recently but the scent remains in the room. I miss the strong smell of yankee carrying throughout the house. I’m a little let down with the strength. The scent is amazing besides that fact.

I don't think it's an authentic Yankee candle. I've bought this sent before at a Yankee store, and what I bought on Amazon isn't the same quality. What i bought on Amazon has no smell while burning. And Yankee candles are known for their scent.

Coconut Beach has absoutely no scent

I am a big Yankee Candle fan. This was my first time trying Coconut Beach because I usually stick with the tried and true classics like Macintosh Apple and Sage and Citrus. The candle is very pretty and would make a nice gift. It burns evenly if you keep the wick trimmed and use a candle topper. But, this candle has absolutely no scent. At first, I thought that I didn't burn it long enough. So, the next day I burned it for over three hours. You need to stand right next to the burning candle to pick up the slightest smell. I order all my Yankee Candles from Amazon, and I have never had a problem. So, I am not sure if this is an "old" candle or the scent is simply very, very subtle. I will stick with my favorite scents from here on out.

This candle hardly smells like Macintosh apples. It is very offensive, smells cheap and gave me a headache. I don't really think that it's a Yankee Candle at all, appears like a knockoff with Yankee Candle label just plastered onto it. This is not what I'm used to. I won't be buying this again

I absolutely love this scent. It's not overwhelmingly sweet and still smells clean in the room. I took a chance on purchasing this here and am very disappointed by the packaging. The jar was simply placed in the box with another item and not surprisingly, was shattered upon arrival. When I picked up the box, I could hear the glass moving around. Unless I completely break off the remaining glass, I can't use this candle as is. And the broken jar is shattered in a way that I could not melt it down without great effort to avoid overspill or ruin a pot specifically to try to save the candle. A simple layer of bubble wrap may have saved it.

I love candles, especially Yankee Candles. I should have known better to buy these for such a low price. There is hardly any smell at all! I made the mistake and bought 4 candles. I can only smell the candle if it’s NOT lit!. Very disappointed. Please, save your money. Better to go buy a candle for $2.00 with a mild scent then to buy these candles with no scent. I wish I didn’t light them so I could return them and get my money back.

Inexpensive vacation just to add reason to this comment I am pretty much totally blind but at my new house I have a great back deck that is very similar to one that you would find on the condo at the beach. So I light the candle I sit down in my patio chair enjoying the breeze is and the scent of the candle if I could just get a machine to simulate wave noise I could pretend I was with a $300 a night condo at the beach. It’s just very nice it gives you the overall sensation that you’re at the beach but without having The saddle up at the front desk in the morning or the either continental breakfast :-) I think it’ll add to the overall effectiveness of your house. I know a lot of hotels at the beach use similar things in the lobby to create the sensation while you’re at the beach so I’m not created in your own house wherever it may be. I think you’ll definitely enjoy this it’s always a great quality product. I hope this helps you when your decisions
