Talking about your feelings with trusted friends or family or counselors can be therapeutic and provide an outlet for frustration. Doing something creative and active is a healthy option.

If you have a child that is struggling and is sad, I highly recommend reading this book with them. This book offers some wonderful suggestions and advice to help children overcome sadness. We love all of the Ninja Life Hack books as they help children to grow and develop socially and emotionally.
