Dangerous Intentions was a very good read. But the plot twists are repetitious, and not original. The twists were written well and kept your attention: even though you pretty much figured what would happen next. Very good writer but with more original plot twists, would make her books a 5 stars 🌟

I have read several of Ms. Samuda’s books before but mainly the ones leaning toward light romance. Dangerous Liaisons has a gritty feel to it and keeps the reader’s attention from start to finish. Gage has spent five years in prison for a murder he did not commit. He holds on to his sanity while locked away by planning to make his enemies pay....starting with the older brother, Leroy, who set him up and including the love of his life....Rayne. Rayne is literally in bed with the enemy; she has married his treacherous brother. Once he is out of prison, Gage puts his plan into play. However, the situation is more complicated and twisted than he first thought. Is Rayne really totally entrenched in his brother’s camp? Does she still have feelings for Gage; does he still have feelings for her? The author takes us on a harrowing ride to find the truth. Gage has allies and friends in his corner (mainly his younger brother, Braun) but even their help might not be enough to bring Leroy to justice. I absolutely enjoyed this book and the tension was searing. The book ends on a fairly EXPLOSIVE cliffhanger and I can’t wait to see the fallout.
