I can’t say if these work because I couldn’t get past the flavor. It taste like chemical artificial. I regret this purchase.

My husband and I really like these Hydracy packets. They were easy to mix with water - the description says 16 ounces of water and the box says 17 ounces of water, but honestly I do not think it really matters.

Hydracy wants people to use their Hydracy branded sports bottle to mix the drink it, which I thought was funny, but the drink tasted just fine in a plastic Amazon branded tumbler. I mixed one packet with 17 ounces of water and mixed it with a whisk. I had no issues with clumping, but I did notice some mix settling on the bottom of the glass. We found the best solution was to keep a spoon nearby and simply mix the drink again halfway through. Not a big deal, just an FYI. For anyone drinking from a sports bottle, this could be solved by just giving the whole thing a good shake.

The flavor is indeed berry. It is purple, which I don't think is necessary, but it does taste like berries. I did not notice any boost of energy, but it did make my water taste better so I did enjoy that. For zero sugar, zero calories and zero carbs, I really like that this fits in to our ketogenic day without any problems.

One complaint I do have is the box just fell apart when I tried to open it. The whole front fell off. I noticed there were perforations around the entire box, so I'm guessing the front of the box is made to come off to give easier access to the packets. The problem is this also allows the packets to spill out of the box. This box needs to be redesigned.

Comes in a pack of 30, and the packets are great for those who are always on the go. Mixing it and drinking is great. The taste is more of an acquired thing, and the smell is somewhat tolerable. There is this unfamiliar pre-taste I get when drinking it though. I believe it is the beet extract ingredient, but I've gotten used to it. It's actually great as a Kickstarter for any morning over coffee. I would recommend using this for bottled water and not in cups because there will be times when you may need to shake it again. The price point is competitive as I've seen many packets go for around a dollar each.
