Once upon a time, I fell in love with my new skillets! My husband and his family ruined all my nonstick cookwear and I have been suffering with having to cook on them for fear that the replacement(s) would have the same fate. I finally had enough and replaced them with 3 of Caanasweis skillets Small/Med/Large and am happy again. After threatening other users with removal of life and limb I plan to baby these beautiful skillets for the rest of eternity. There is no better satisfaction than making an omelet that glides right out of the pan onto the plate, or searing a beautiful chicken breast or piece of salmon that doesn't get mutilated in an attempt to flip it over in the pan. I am madly in love! Oh, and the cleaning!? Virtual rapture! These babies are low maintenance with a quick wipe of a soapy cloth and a rinse and they are ready for more! Alas, I hope these last. I will update my love affair with these beauties if our relationship goes sour, but I plan to live up to my side of the promise and won't let any other hands ruin our love. P.S. The handles on these pans are amazing too! They have a rubber outer feel and a wooden appearance and are sturdily attached to the pan. Work great on my gas stove, and under my broiler when I make fritatas with no issues. The End!
