After reading some reviews, I feel like I have to correct the record. There is NOT a lot of swearing in this book, nor is there repeated use of the "f" bomb. Unlike sond stories I've read, the author used some swear words intermittently. Who cares. Unless you live in a convent, swear words are used. Get over it. The story centers around Carmen and her successful sister, Sophia. As in real life, Carmen's job is lost due to her store closing. Her sister, a lawyer, has a client who owns a bookstore, and he's in dire need of help. So is Carmen. So Sophia decides to ask Carmen to come work at the bookstore, and the story slowly blooms. I won't give any spoilers. It was a great read for the holiday season.
