Redacted Vice recounts the continuing adventures of many characters in the 4HU. I even managed to clear this review with the beings who love to stamp Redacted on what ever they can in the 4HU. The story mainly centers around Larth, Jyrall, Ricky and Keaton. The novelalso covers other characters as well. At this point, a score card is almost needed to keep track of all the characters. The overall story contains information that will have effects through out the 4HU. A little more information about Snowman’s plans are dropped. The book has plenty of intrigue and lots of action. There is also some light humor through out the novel. Inkenberry and Steverson have produced another entertaining novel that also contains some mayhem. Maybe more than a little mayhem, after all Larth, Jyrall, Ricky and Keaton are featured in the novel.
Fun, fast paced, and exciting is how I would describe this book. The series continues not only the peacemaker storyline, but injects an interesting angle into the science guild's desires in what it wants to do in the galaxy. My question is, is the science guild a part of the karhaman? Can't wait to find out more!!
The various guilds are are increasingly being exposed as corrupt. The campaigning again to control the humans continues. By now humanity is being joined by other species who have also been controlled by the corrupt guilds.
A family by choice transcends family by blood. This is truly a tale of both. The unconditional love and acceptance of eccentric members that together is their greatest power. The only shortcomings of this tale is that it ends too soon
Just wonderful how these books keep developing! Love the idea of Ricky and Keaton working with Larth and Jyrall and their continuing journey. I seriously can't wait to see how far they go together and what is waiting after the next jump.
The previous books in this arc are great and are mainly full of action/adventure as the Peacemakers try to keep the galaxy together and redefine themselves. However this one there is a bit of suspense and thriller being added to the mix in considerable portions. You start to see there is a shadowy undercurrent going on at the highest level of the Peacemakers. Peacemakers and their deputies are falling into different camps. The likes of Jessica Francis and her allies that are upholding the ideals of the guild. We are introduced to the Crusaders which are lead by entity called the Counselor. They want to enforce "peace" across the galaxy by force of arms. So there are machinations on both sides. This book adds a completely new dimension to the galaxy and in particular the Peacemaker guild.
