My kindergartener has been absolutely loving the Ninja Hacks series (we have 2 box sets and then a melange of 5-6 more as well). These have been great at helping to give him super powers he is lacking, and he loves the ninja characters. They're above his current reading level, but it gives us a great opportunity to read with him and talk with him about different reactions and responses, as well as how the ninjas overcome. Highly recommend all of the books, and Ambitious Ninja is no different. Off to purchase Movers and Shakers: Elon Musk!
With the help of Passionate Ninja, Ambitious Ninja understands that to achieve her goals she needs to set objectives and follow through with them. Learning that it takes time and to stay focused on these objectives, she tries her best and is successful! This is a good book for kids to figure out how to have patience and to stay focused on achieving their goals.
Ambitious Ninja: A Children's Book About Goal Setting (Ninja Life Hacks 45) - reminds kids and adults that achieving in life requires hard work. As in the other books in this wonderful series, author Mary Nhin provides doable and convincing "life hacks" that are doable and beneficial for kids of all ages.
This is a cute little story about how to set goals to achieve desired outcomes. It uses some. It uses some big words, so it is for experienced readers or for kids to read with an adult (probably a good idea anyway, so they can discuss and get to work).
I was amazed how this book hooked my son. He is 8 and sometimes very negative upon his TKD classes and belt testing. This book came just right in time so he can now understand how to set goals and work toward achieving them (great for his TKD!) The story was easy to understand and enjoyed reading it. It was like they were talking about him.
I love how the story is centered around the fact that Ambitious Ninja thought she could achieve her goals without a game plan and didn't realize that it would take hard work. Many students I work with have this misconception, so I appreciate how the author laid out a concrete process of how to achieve goals, while making it easy for children to understand.
Another winner from Mary Nhin's Ninja Life Hack Series! Kids will benefit from learning about types of goals (using her clever mnemonic PPO). The story shows how to practically set these goals and ultimately achieve them.
