It is short and it will help you determine if you are really interested in communicating and getting knowledge. It will help you see the approaches being used and give you insight into the teacher and insight into yourself. I have not finished it. It is not long but I am savoring each bite of knowledge and insight I take of it. Read the book and pass it on. I am so grateful I found this book.
This book was much deeper and covered more than I had expected. There were many terms I wasn't familiar with which made it a bit difficult to read but I give it 5 stars because I found it fascinating. If teachers utilize this information properly it would make schooling much more productive, and students more effective in life. He covered processes involving 6 domains of cognition, steps, specific kinds of questions to ask students and more.

I, myself, have always been a very curious learner. But now that I am an adult, I've noticed how not everyone learns the same. But the kids, and even adults, who are hungry to learn more and continue to improve themselves are the ones who do much better in life. This book will help more adults be able to teach their kids to be hungry to learn new things.
As an aspiring teacher, this book was very insightful and offered a great view of the different methods and theories behind certain teaching methods. It was definitely was something that I enjoyed reading, and widened my own personal knowledge of the subject. Not only is this useful for an educational setting, but is great background knowledge for anyone who works with kids!
Being a middle and high school tutor I found this book enlightening! It provides you with a multitude of different approaches which is crucial when working with kids because it is as the book puts it, "not a one size fits all." I really enjoyed reading this book! I really liked the organization of the book. All the chapters helped support the main idea and it was quite interesting to learn about all the various pedagogical approaches and how to effectively use them.
