To quote from the author's notes, I will take a stab at writing a review chop chop. That is not to say that the story is choppy or has a knife in it. It starts out with a gem embedded at the beginning. However, the love of all espoused by the heroine overcomes machinations from characters close to the heart of her school. In this book there is resolution of many conundrums from the series. It still leaves others unresolved. I am quite happy that a squirrel remains familiar in many meanings. Unfortunately, while there was a defenestration and a death by garbage can, no character killed a bird. I can only hope it appears in the next love match with a strangled nightingale by a ninja.
