Cassie Quinn has a unique gift that I'm going to assume very few people could live with. She sees dead people. She can sense what they are experiencing but they are unable to talk to her. She can sense there fear, anger, hostility. She actually works in a museum but has established more then a working relationship with one very seasoned Savannah PD Homicide Detective. They have worked on cases together for a decade. They trust each other and have become good friends. They are working to solve a 20 year old cold case. A serial killer. Then the suspect is murdered in exactly the same fashion as his victims. This is an excellent read. Not surprisingly, the motive behind the killer and the suspect who killed him are easy to understand. Morality and legality usually don't overlap. My highest recommendation!!
