There are a number of negative reviews about this TV and I have only had it a week but it was easy to set up operates like my bigger Vizio and picture quality is good. I needed this small TV for a window ledge in my bedroom next to my bed. It does have a very weak speaker setup, sound appears to come from the back but I don't want it particularly loud in the small area. This would not be a good TV when you are not quite close to it like I am but for me it is just what I needed.

Don’t Even Think About It

The TV has been caught in a loop the last 4 hours of “updating” I’ve hardwired the connection. Tried restarting. We have the fastest WiFi available. The tv will just continue to update and you’ll never make it to the Home Screen. Just get a Roku. I’m going to cry now.

Love this tv so far. 2 things I can say that isn’t positive is the sound is weak but I just attached a little speaker to it and it sounds great now. It’s for small room so don’t need huge speakers. Also it had the wrong screws to bolt down the legs of tv to body of tv. I had some that worked luckily. Package had been opened or severely damaged in the mail delivery. Anywho, it works good is the final outcome.

Update:

Final outcome seems to be this smart tv doesn’t want me to go through the selections on my own. This TV has mind of its own and is programmed to force what it wants down your throat. Terrible, this is first and last smart tv I will ever buy. It wants to shove it’s agenda down your throat and make it difficult to navigate through where you want to go to see what you want to see

DO NOT BUY THIS VIZIO SERIES TV, I PURCHASED ONE TURNED ON OKAY, GOT STARTED AND TURBED OFF AND COULDN'T GET IT BACK ON EVEN AFTER GOOGLE SEARCHING, WHICH I FOUND OUT IS A BIG ISSUE WITH VIZO TV'S! SO I GAVE THEM THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUGHT AND BPUGHT ANOTHER ONE BUT HIGHER RESOLUTION ABD THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED! I THOUGHT SOMETHING WAS WRONG WITH MY RECEPTACLES, HOPE JUST VIZO TV'S AS I RETURBED BOTH AND HAVEN'T HAD A SINGLE ISSUE WITH THE LG I REPLACED THEM WITH!

Awful purchase. My tv got lost on it's way here and showed up late. Then, after less than an hour watching TV, it went almost completely white and now there is a huge white block with other colored lines down the side of the screen. The volume is garbage. I have it turned up to 50 just to be able to hear it. No option to have the TV exchanged. I could use the money to purchase other items or could return it for a refund. I am very upset with this situation.

It’s so small screen wise (yes I know it’s a 24”) but everything on the screen is so tiny I can’t even read it while I’m on my bed. And for the price I could’ve gotten a bigger tv. I do like that it has peacock and Redbox on it, but I do not like how tiny the features on the screen are. Also it keeps turning on by its self , it freezes and when you press buttons to choose something it seems like it lags and is super slow moving… I will NOT buy another one. I feel like I got screwed over and sent a messed up one.

The media could not be loaded.

The television will work fine until the end of the warranty and then one day the screen starts blinking on and off, and the reccomended fix does not work. Its an ploy to get an $150 service call on a tv that cost less than that. Im just going throw this out and buy a new tv again after maybe 9 months. It will not be a Vizio or from Blinq,com. Im not sure what has happened to the quality of Vizio tvs but they have lost a customer.

WIFI CONNECTION STINKS

PURCHASED THIS TV TO STREAM NEWS. VIDEO IS CHOPPY AND KEEPS FREEZING. STARTED DISCONNECTING FROM THE WIFI, BOUGHT A NEW ROUTER AND WHILE ALL OTHER DEVICES ARE WORKING FINE THIS TV STILL WAS CHOPPY, FREEZING, AND CONTINUED TO DISCONNECT FROM THE WIFI. I CONTACTED SUPPORT AND THEY HAD ME CONNECT IT TO MY CELL PHONE. WORKED FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES AND THEN FROZE. COULD NOT GET IT TO WORK AGAIN. THEIR SUPPORT SAID THAT BECAUSE IT CONNECTED TO MY PHONE THAT IT WAS NOT THEIR TV BUT MY INTERNET CONNECTION. THEY TOLD ME TO CONTACT MY INTERNET PROVIDER. ALL OF MY OTHER TVs (SAMSUNG ON WIFI) AND COMPUTERS STREAM JUST FINE. I AM ALSO A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR OF 25 YEARS AND HAVE EXTENSTIVE KNOWLEDGE WITH NETWORKS. I CONTINUED TO TROUBLESHOOT THE ISSUE MYSELF AND TURNED OFF ALL OF THE WIFI SECURITY SETTINGS. INTERESTINGLY THE TV CONNECTED AND STREAMED FOR ABOUT 3 OR 4 HOURS WITHOUT ISSUE BEFORE DISCONNECTING FROM THE NETWORK AGAIN. I'LL NEVER BUY ANOTHER VIZIO PRODUCT!!! MY DEDUCTION IS THAT THEIR FIRMWARE PROGRAMMING IS POOR OR THE TV IS DEFECTIVE. UNFORTUNATLY THEIR SUPPORT DEPARTMENT LACKS THE SKILLS TO FULLY TROUBLESHOOT THEIR PRODUCTS. DON'T BUY VIZIO PRODUCTS!!!!

This TV is not for this aged tech imbecile. Too many challenges and too smart to do what I need it to do, easily. Must return and pay more for a dumber TV. A plain old monitor with a headphone jack and my fire stick will be fine.
