A very concerning letter from your Teacher

I am HIGHLY alarmed and disturbed! I had heard so much about this book and was very excited to order it for my class. I mean, I’m ordering a first day of school book before the current last day of school. Well, it arrived today and when I took it out of the packaging I noticed the book being rather thick- Which I thought was highly unusual for a CHILDREN’S PICTURE BOOK. Oh but nay nay! I began flipping through the book, the beginning started out quite lovely, until I got to the middle in which it becomes a builders manual for an AK-AKM rifle!!!! Oh yes, you read that correctly. Why on gods green earth would there be a gun building manual in the middle of a children’s book! A children’s book called “A Letter from your Teacher” - what kind of letter/message is this book trying to send?! Not only am I disappointed but I’m also concerned that this purchase will flag me onto some kind of terrorist/government watch list. This is not okay.

It’s a super cute book, but there is another book “Our class is a Family” right in the middle of it. I think there must have been a mess up in printing. It starts with the correct book and right in the middle it switches. Then goes back to the original story. I wouldn’t mind if it was two books in one but the other one shouldn’t be right in the middle lol. After reading some reviews, it looks like that has happened before. I would probably order from somewhere else.

Book was cute but poor quality, bought and returned two copies because the writing was cut off, pictures were cut off. Not sure where these were printed but it is clear quality was not a priority. Finally just returned for a refund.

Through reviews and publicity of this book I interpreted it as a book you would read to your current class to prep them for the following year. However it appears to be one that you read to your new class on their first day of school. The book is also very flimsy and considering the price, I expected more.
