How customer reviews and ratings work

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

5.0 out of 5 starsCouldn't paint truer picture of what could happen
Reviewed in the United States on July 30, 2021
Never have read a book that so vividly portrays what is happening. Remember anyone who trades freedom, for security will have neither. All to many in this country would welcome a foreign invader into our country. Only 1% of American's have served in our armed forces. All veteran's, no matter our physical condition, all who own firearms, all who value true freedom, who know that we have a responsibility to protect our fellow citizens. Whether it's getting vaccinated, standing a post, or protecting our nation from all enemy's foreign or domestic. Our oath is for all of our life's. This book points that out very clearly.

3.0 out of 5 starsYour tinfoil hat is a bit tight, Ira...
Reviewed in the United States on June 25, 2021
Typical Ira... It's a good story, such as it is... But like the stories during the Cold War that told of a future America that had been invaded and occupied by the Russians, it requires the reader ignore certain facts and have a strong belief in the more extreme conspiracy theories that the far Right likes to circulate.

Being a Marine veteran myself, I have no doubt that an invasion of America would be met with a fury unmatched in history, and Ira does a good job of describing this. But the backstory? There's a rule of thumb about conspiracy theories: They almost all don't hold water because it's way too difficult to keep them secret.

To get this out of the way, I didn't rate this as one star because of my political leanings; I'm to the RIGHT of the late, great Rush Limbaugh. It's one star because Tom Clancy could've written it better drunk on a fifth of Jack Daniels. Too many spelling, syntax, and grammar errors to count that killed an intriguing plot.

Giving this one five stars as was really a great read. The scary part is how believable it is and the timeline goes up to current events actually happening then into the future. Will pray it doesn’t happen the way written but is very possible in could based on the way things are happening with the government, media, and China. Off now to buy the 2nd book!

Well written. So far, some good character development, but need to know the main actors much better to really identify.
Written in the first person when dealing with the main character. I really like first person narratives, and this is s good one.
Moving on to book two.
Think I like this author! Next book will tell!

Could be the next headline you will not get to read, because the media is in the presidential pocket.
SO REAL! Good read, not politically correct. No spoilers here! Read this before it disappears. If you liked President Trump you will understand exactly how this could happen. Awaiting book two. 📖

2.0 out of 5 stars it’s believable in away

The story was full of too many what-ifs/conspiracy ideas on thinks of they happen has they did really got old but I understand that the author was given us a background building on the theories for the problems over the 2016-2022 American years.

There was good work on the American military and Gov’t positions on how they would’ve reacted to events has they did but at time you over did the technical details for military hardware that most people wouldn’t get a true understanding, but a brief summary of there history or how they work would’ve helped the less in formed readers.

On the opposite side your pro-trail of Chinese and there Allie’s could use some real work. The Chinese military structure has a formal speak at times that dosen’t come off easy to write in English but there many military thrillers that could’ve been used for writing structure but I can’t really remember off the top of my head. An finally the aftica/blm you only showed them but portrayed them has people they felt hollow and only has a tool to move the story not has enemy combatants or misguided protesters I hope you give some a voice to better express there POV on things in later books.

2.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining but can't read it with logic

I cannot understand why do China want to spend so much resources to invade and occupy USA? Natural resource, technologies or people?

It is safe to assume that the major attractiveness of US to China is the consumers market it represent and some of the technologies where US is still ahead of the rest of the world.

If China want to go for land grab, plenty of it in Asia. And i think they no longer fear US ability to fight a war far from it's shore.

So many typos, syntax errors, continuity errors, incorrect weapons info… and the story is incredibly implausible. Not the main storyline of China attacking the US, but the way battles play out is like US forces and equipment is so substandard that it’s all destined to failure. Got so bad I had to quit reading it.
