Once again well written and entertaining but I admit I hate Dr. Grant. He is constantly complaining and being a smartass even in the face of danger. He is tiresome. My only wish is that he will be eaten in his final adventures

I only gave this particular book three stars because I couldn't find one character I liked in the whole book. Not even Dr Grant Coleman who I normally like. He's usually kind of funny but way too much wisecracking in this book. Everything that came out of his mouth was snarky even in the face of death. I liked the creatures but this book didn't do it for me like the other books in the series. Idk what adventure is next for the Paleontologist but maybe he needs a little rest. I do like the author and will try his other books. I especially like his afterwards section at the end where he explains certain things. That's a nice touch.

I thoroughly enjoyed the latest exploits of our out of shape protagonist, the ability to connect to an action heroism wonderful considering that I am an out of shape fellow that dreams of being Indiana Jones himself.

Great sets up and characters, plenty of action and a satisfying conclusion with a set up for a sequel. I can't wait!
