Amazing Adventure!

I loved this series. I am so glad that I got to read the whole series of five books at once instead of reading each book and then having to wait for the next. There was plenty of action in each book and lots of unexpected twists. My only disappointment was watching the percentage left in the series as it neared the end. I can’t wait to see what adventure Brandon will take us on next.

I actually had to stop reading this

This story starts off pretty well - a semi believable plot with secret government agencies, new discoveries on new planets sort of thing. About halfway thru it devolves into some hare brained mish mash of ideas and never ending cycle of idiot characters. It's like a 5 year old wrote down every fantastic idea that jumped into his head every 10 seconds. All of the characters make stupid decision after stupid decision despite being "geniuses" or "the best" at what they do. It's a schizophrenic story with such a jumpy plot that the creativity is absolutely lost. I read hundreds of books a year and this one is very a rare one that was so bad I couldn't finish....

There are problems. It needs a proofreader and/or an editor. Way too many misspelled words and grammatical errors.
Difficult to read at times due to the frequent errors.

The beginning of this series was slow while toward the middle the story line was somewhat confusing the story line was jumping all over the place had I have been reading 5 separate books instead of a series I would probably quit about the end of the third book, but then some exciting areas appeared so I just had to continue on just in case there was more coming, yes, there was more coming and finished the last two books satisfied that everything was right with the world. Yes it was overall an excellent read although I had my doubts around the middle, Sometimes I give up way too soon but not this time. Good job Brandon Ellis. Dan
