****Rosewood High #1-4 by Tracy Lorraine: Overall good! All these stories have parental drama, which causes a lot of the negative baggage. While these stories can be read as stand-alones, they all feature the same group of friends.
****Thorn #1: This story was pretty good, but the H/h connection felt somewhat lacking. I loved Amalie, but Jake was a bit of a tool! It heats up as “hate” falls into love, and hearts open up. Nice HFN.
*****Paine #2: There’s a lot of raw emotion in this story. Parents who mess up, kids who deal with the painful fallout. Also, love and friendships, mean girls and tough girls. Very good.
****Savage #3: Overall enjoyable story, with bullying, and heat. The angst got a little repetitive before a final HFN. Likable characters and a good pace.
****Fierce #4: This story has lots of feels. Bitterness, regrets, complications, love, and pain… somewhat repetitive ups and downs — with roller coaster emotions. Also, lots of steam. PTATORS
I screwed up and read the Maddison Kings University books first before I read the Rosewood High...🤦🏻♀️ Is it doable..yes..would I recommend it..no. I wish I would have started with Rosewood, it would have answered a bunch of questions I had about the background characters in Maddison Kings...all good though. These stories of course were top notch amazing. I've come to expect nothing less from Lorraine.
Bully Romance is becoming one of my favorite tropes. Amalie has moved to America from London after a tragic accident killed her parents. Jake is captain of the football team and king of the school. The minute he sees Amalie it triggers his memories from his past and he decides to make her pay. I love how Amalie stood strong and never backed down and once you get to know Jake you see him in a different light. The only thing is I think Amalie forgave somethings way to easily. It was a good story with great characters. Can't wait for Mason's story.
I listened to the audio book too.
I love Mason and Camila's story. These two were best friends when they were younger and just when they seemed to take the next step a tragic event happens and now Mason has it out for Camila and who worst to have as an enemy than your former best friend who knows everything about you. Even though he claims to have her when things happen he still shows that he would always protect her. This is a best friend turn enemies turn lovers story mixed with family drama, angst and steam. I couldn't out it down. Can't wait to read more from this series!

Wow. Savage is a beast. Ethan is the biggest playboy we read about in the other two books always throwing the parties and hooking up with all the girls. If you read Paine you get a glimpse that something is going on with Ethan and he is spiraling out of control. Ethan is having a hard time dealing with the separation of his parents and then finding out his dad had an affair and the woman and his daughter was coming to live with them. He vows to make Raelynn's stay a nightmare and torture her. To his surprise Raelynn doesn't cower or show fear and fights back just as hard. I loved this book. I love how strong, feisty and independent Raelynn is after everything she has been through. Love when characters banter and these two don't disappoint. Can't wait for the next book in this series

Listened to the audio book.
Fierce This is Chelsea and Shane's story. I love this series. In this book we get Chelsea's background and find out why she did the things she did in the previous books, we also get more of Shane's life and how his dad keeps pushing him to follow in his footsteps and go into the NFL even though he doesn't want to. Shane and Chelsea have know each other since they were young their mothers are best friend's and he has always had a crush on her but she always ignored him until one night and then she disappeared for a while. When she comes back he is angry and pissed but still has feelings for her. Chelsea brings out a side of Shane that you wouldn't expect from him. Chelsea was always chasing after the unattainable, but that one night with Shane and her sabbatical makes her think things differently. Now she's back and she tries to make amends for her actions and try to prove she's changed but she is still keeping a secret. I really enjoyed this and couldn't put it down. We get a glimpse of the previous characters and a little glimpse into the next couple in the series. Can't wait to read more. I received an ARC and volunteered to leave a review.
I also listened to the audio. Love the narrators tell this story
This series is hands down one of my favorite bully romance series! I love the couples, I love the drama, I love that the women are fierce and they fight back and I especially love the alphahole men that fall to their knees for these women!
Thorn features Jake and Amelie, she recently moved to the states to live with her aunt after a family tragedy and Jake Thorn instantly singles her out and starts to bully her. He doesn't have the best home life and through out the book you find out more about why he is the way that he is. He definitely makes a few questionable choices but by the end this reader was loving him! The chemistry between these two was fantastic, I personally love when the characters have a little hate between them cause you know its gonna be explosive when they realize they actually like each other!
Paine is the second book in the Rosewood Series by Tracy Lorraine and it picks up right where Thorn ended. If there is one thing I love about the way Tracy Lorraine tells a story, its how she puts you in the story and makes you feel the way her characters feel! This book will seriously send you on a roller coaster of emotions with lots of highs and lows and possibly even a few tears shed along the way. I loved Mason & Camila in Thorn so I am excited that they got their own book and that we finally get to know their back story!!
Mason and Camila used to be best friends and even shared a kiss but the very next day Mason's life fell apart and he blamed Camila's family for the events that happened. These once best friends and now enemies that rarely associate with each other but they are about to be forced back together. As these two are forced to lived under the same roof together they are also forced to deal with the feelings that had in the past that never really went away.
Mason was an amazing character, he sacrificed so much for his family, especially his younger brothers. He worked hard to support his family and try to keep them afloat while still balancing work and football and dealing with his mom's issues. His inner turmoil when it comes to his feelings about Camila is both frustrating to watch and slightly swoon worthy, like he can't help but made snide comments yet he will beat her boyfriend up for cheating on her. Camila was a feisty, incredibly loyal, and sweet character that never fully understood why Mason stopped being her friend. She had so much spunk and even after Mason was a jerk to her she still wanted to protect him in subtle ways like not telling others about his job. When she is finally willing to give into her feelings her chemistry with Mason is off the charts!
I had high expectations going into Savage after devouring the first two books in this series and not only did Tracy Lorraine meet those expectations, she smashed them out of the park!!! The way the story is written will suck the reader in, it will force you to see and feel what the characters are going though. You will laugh, want to yell, possibly cry, and most of all you will root hard for these two to get their happily ever after.
Fierce is the fourth book in the series of interconnected standalones and I'm not gonna lie... before this book I was not a fan of Chelsea. She was pretty much the worst, and it was hard to imagine that anyone could ever make me like her... good thing this author likes to rise to the challenge. Not only did the author make me like her, she made me root for her! Let's not forget Shane, oh-my-lanta I did not expect the alpha that was hiding in him. I guess he just needed the right girl to awaken it in him by wow!
I don't want to give too much away but I definitely recommend this story and this whole series.
This was such a great bully romance. Jake is the king of the school but everything is not as it seems. Amalie comes to town and blows everything out of the water. I loved these characters and this intense story. They were perfect for each other. I couldn’t put this book down!!!!
This story is full of angst and dark intensity. Camila and Mason are pure fire together! This story was intense, captivating and just a fantastic read. This series is pure magic and fire!!! I loved this couple!
Ethan is determined to get rid of his “step-sister” at any cost. This dark and gritty story was magnificent. Rae is the perfect foil for Ethan. She is strong and feisty. She gives back everything he throws at her. I loved her. They have an explosive chemistry that is addictive. This book was amazing!
The Rosewood High series has been golden. Each book just gets better and better. I have loved every book in this series but Fierce has the emotional impact of a nuclear explosion. So many feels!!! When I found out this book would focus on Chelsea, I thought to myself how is she going to redeem this girl to me. She was always so vicious; however, Tracy Lorraine really delivered with this book. After reading the backstory to Chelsea and Shane, I found myself rooting for this couple. Chelsea is back and seeking forgiveness, acceptance and redemption. Shane is angry and out for revenge. Their journey to love is full of many obstacles. I highly recommend this one click, five star book.
Thorn is book 1 in the Rosewood High series. This is the first book by Tracy Lorraine I have read. It is a bully romance that takes place at Rosewood High. Lots of high school drama which I love. Although Jake was truly an absolute jerk and I really wanted to b*tch slap him, I couldn't help rooting for him since he had his own demons. I loved Amalie. She was a perfect match for our tormented Jake.
Paine is book 2 in the Rosewood High series. I enjoyed the book as much as Thorn. Mason tugged at my heart strings even though he pretty much made it is his mission to ruin any happiness Camila might find. It is a bully romance with lots of high school angst. It doesn't disappoint!
Savage by Tracy Lorraine was a great addition to the Rosewood High books. Each book just got better and better. I would have to say that Ethan is probably my favorite. He was nothing but a d*ck to Raelynn and he had baggage but he was my fave of the boys. So much high school drama. Raelynn was very strong given her traumatic past. There was some really hot sexiness going on between the two along with the mutual hate. Fantastic read!
Fierce is book 4 in the Rosewood High series by Tracy Lorraine. I was so happy that Chelsea finally got her HEA. I had no idea how Tracy was going to get her readers to like Chelsea and want to see her HEA. But she did it! I wanted nothing more than to see Chelsea overcome her disastrous mistakes of the past. Kudos to Tracy Lorraine! Great read!.
