It wasn’t bad

West is fresh out of rehab and looking forward to getting on the road with new album and tour what he never expected was meeting a journalist who had been a fan and now hates his guts. Max let’s West know exactly what she thinks about him and that his new album and tour will flop unless he apologizes for his previous drunkenness, bad performances, his out of control drug use and general dumb assness. Game on, challenge accepted and she’s dragged into his apology tour, under duress of cause. West is definitely more into Maxi then she is into him. To say this story is moving slowly is a gross understatement, these two have zero chemistry. Meanwhile Alexsis and Ford or Nil’s chemistry was more intense and I’m half way through this book , Max and West haven’t even shared a kiss. So at this point I thought I’d stumbled into a young adult book but no. This whole apology tour seemed ok but apologize to his father? For what exactly, didn’t get that one at all. I thought Max’s reason for hating West was lame and she held a grudge for like twenty years and they were strangers to each other. The ending was good not great so I’m giving it three stars.
