Reading book five in this wonderful series felt like a well-wrapped gift :-)

It is Adventurous, Engaging, Sweet, Sassy, Steamy, and pulled on my heart strings!!! The Author, Ava Ross has done such an Amazing job writing this series and to be able to learn more about the Ferlaern world and all the scary yet wondrous aspects of everyone and everything .... Felt Superb. The two main characters complimented each other so well and this series is just so engaging and interesting that each book....each couple....had unique dynamics. It is a must-read....as all of Ava Ross' books are wonderful pleasures 😊

I thought this book was okay. The writing was faster paced than the other books (that I remember from reading couple of months ago). I looked forward to Savvy’s story ever since her mother’s book but unfortunately it looked like to me that she was still stuck in 12 years old phase. I love any well written angst that makes me laugh or think “wow that’s a really good line I could use myself later” but I just kept rolling my eyes at Savvy’s behavior until I thought my eyeballs would get stuck. Skyder was not much better in the beginning but he had his reasons and I felt like he stopped quicker. I did finish the book, just for the sake of knowing what happened and the ending was pretty cool.
