So Much Fun

The story begins with a forced marriage from which Clarey is rescued by The Wolf. This is Connel and Clareys story. As usual for Ms Sands stories there is mystery and humor. Also lots of love. Ms Sands has a wonderful gift. Her characters are loveable and her dialogue flows. If you like historical romance, action, mystery, and humor you will love this book.

Complete Disappointment

I am normally a huge fan of Lynsay's historical work, but this is not good. First, the story is a re-telling of parts of stories I have already read. Second, the love scenes are lackluster. Third, the dialogue is not witty at all. Fourth, Squeak continues to remind me of the lead mouse in Cinderella, and Stubborn Bastard reminds me of another full-length cartoon from my childhood. These are not the things I want to be reminded of when reading such a novel. This is a complete miss for me.

I absolutely love Lyndsey Sands’ writing! Her books are always well written and hard to put down. She’s an exceptionally gifted writer. This book is great. It has humor, love, kindness and of course mad killers all wrapped together for an amazing story. You will love the journey of Conall and Claray take you on. I highly recommend this book!

Absolutely loved this book. Filled with adventure, suspense and humor. Do not know how Conall did not loose his mind with Claray and her finding and keeping wounded animals. Each time they stopped I was wondering what she would find next. Their love for each other was touching from the start. And did not see it coming on who was trying to kill Conall. Look forward to Lynsay Sand’s next book. They keep getting better
