To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I’m fairly certain that my five star review and that title, above, Should make my feelings about this particular book relatively clear.
However, in another novella that Michael Anderle and Ramy Vance collaborated on in which they killed off all of their many peers (including themselves, no less), Prior to death and dismemberment several of the authors were discussing the utility and difficulty of writing a good blurb… A good blurb, it was maintained, should try to summarize the book in the most intriguing way possible and do so within the boundaries of a single sentence. I thought I might try my hand at it here:
Everything changes for everyone in this latest book as new roles are assumed, old troubles fade away and the coming apocalypse is averted once more (of course). With cookies on the side!
I couldn’t resist adding the cookie reference, but I think overall it still passes muster quite well…
Lucy and the Silver Griffiths have to figure out who is putting magicals into comas and stealing their shadows. At the same time her husband is getting ready to quit his day job and start full time at his dream job. All gets wrapped up nicely in the end and as usual, another awesome book filled with magic, action and family.
This last book in the series was as enjoyable as the rest of the books! I am saddened that it is the last book! I totally enjoyed the series! I particularly like that it was cleanly written and I didn’t have to flip pages of explained sexual situations! I look forward to checking out other series by Martha Carr!
As always with these authors good characters and a fast paced and entertaining story. I like the diverse characters and the interactions with their pets. It is always bittersweet when a good series ends because though an end is good after 8 books I'll miss the characters
Martha has graced us with an enthusiastic series. Loved it. Nothing speaks mom like a Silver Griffin Witch. Martha makes you want to believe in this kind of world. Exciting, marvelous, engaging, and breathtaking. Cudos make you done well. Thank you. A satisfied fan.
I enjoyed this book, very much. The books just keep getting better with each successive book in the series. The main characters are believable, fun, endearing, and the reader wants to know more. I have no problem recommending this book or the entire series.
Farewell Leela- dog heaven is enriched... On to the book. Excellent series. Fun, adventurous and lots of character interactions. This is the end of this series, but left with events open for new adventures later. Enjoy
