I have loved this series from book one! Given current world events this series has been a welcome respite from the world outside. The action has always been superbly paced and keeps me turning the pages. I am glad to see that the Russians are being given great story arcs and am enjoying seeing the war from "Ivan's" POV. The story remains compelling and very enjoyable. I find myself wanting to yell at the President when she waivers and I really enjoyed seeing Blain's more sinister side from his days as an Operator.
The Naval combat continues to make me smile, I'm glad the the Texas is still out there putting bad guys on the bottom, I laughed out loud at what happened to the name of one of the Submarines in the fleet, no spoilers but it was funny and cringe worthy. Great sense of humor guys! This duo has come into it's own now, they really have found a great rhythm. The series keeps getting better and when I finished this book I logged onto Amazon to see (to hope) that book five somehow miraculously was now available. Again guys, to quote a timeless film, "I hate to wait!" Thank you once more for a fantastic read!
