The leisurely storytelling style is both bug and feature here. Andie ponders her submissiveness, ponders her husband’s submission to her submissive need for dominant men, and submits to her own submissiveness, as Peter ponders her submissiveness, ponders his own submission to her submissiveness, submits to his own submission, and let his submissive wife dominate him, indirectly of course, by submitting to more dominant men. Including dominant he-man Nathan Chase, who wants her fantasizing about Nathan knocking her up.

So that’s the bug. It’s also a feature, though. For a lot of readers all this erotic thinking is a kind of a foreplay, warming you up for more explicit things when they happen. If you like kink, there’s a lot of it at the next wild party Andie and Peter are invited to attend. It’s not just an orgy: that wouldn’t do it justice. It’s a place where Chase and other people with highly developed and complex kinky tastes act out fantasies including and beyond BDSM. The bit with the lactating woman was hot. This is well outside formulaic hotwife plots and I tend to appreciate writers for doing that. Keeps them and their readers fresh.
