But I feel Pete has a problem with the female anatomy . Every women does not have breasts the quality described by Mr. Brandvold . If some of the sexual feelings were more realistic the reading would be more factual of the men and women of that era you would rarely ever see a women’s ankle let alone one dancing naked in a rainstorm
Peter Brandvold – Yakima Henry Bk 14 – Wildcat of the Sierra Estrada – Reviewed 11/5/21 – Read 10/30/21
The town of Apache Springs offered Yakima his old job as Town Marshal, now that they had started rebuilding after it the whole town had nearly been burned to the ground by the kill-crazy Rebel Wilkes. Wilkes had been outvoted when he wanted to have the railroad come into town so that he could ship his gold by rail, instead of having to freight it out. He hired men to kill the Marshal, which happened right in front of Yakima and the marshal's young wife. Then the killers went nuts, burning and razing the buildings, and almost killing everyone in town, including assaulting the marshal's wife.
After Yakima managed to get himself out of the cell he was in due to tearing up the saloon the night before, he killed the attackers and saved the rest of the town. In the aftermath, the town hired Yakima to be their Town Marshal, later though he was relieved of his job, and he went back to his little house in the desert and started prospecting again.
Surprising even himself when the marshal’s widow came to him and asked for him to come back he did, including the relationship that he had built with her. The town is flourishing now, and Yakima and his two deputies are being kept busy. There was a legend that nearby was a canyon, and in that canyon there was gold. Now according to that legend, the gold was cursed and if any is removed all hell would hit the town of Apache Springs and its townspeople.
Join Yakima as he faces the legend, and confronts both his past and future head-on…
