The first thing I have to say is the Space Wolves, sorry Wolves of Fenris are stubborn ass, ignorant marines. Second, this was an overall good book. I thought at times the story flowed kind of weird but in the end it all came together like a near puzzle. I think the author did a great job capturing not only who the Wolves of Fenris are but how ruthless Orks can be. The books does make me glad I play Ultramarines but I can definitely respect the Wolves of Fenris and they're ferocity. Look forward to more books in the Dawn of Fire series.

Came for a warhammer book, but this was half filled with a story of life on Ferris. That part was pretty boring. Not one of the better 40k books.

One mark of a good story is the constant wrestling with one's feelings towards the characters, be that frustration, excitement, disappointment, or hope. This story had all and keeps the reader engaged to the very end, a fitting novel describing the battles of the Indomitus crusade.

This was one of the better warhammer books I’ve read in awhile. The story was great as were the number of pages and price which really shocked me. Awesome book! Wish there was a follow up for the wolves because I would happily read more story’s about Gauis and his journey after the end of the book

Not a 5/5, but enough to tide you over for the next book in the series. At first I thought the whole Fenris odyssey of the Primaris Marine would be lame, but turned out to be pretty cool. I think it's hard to write Space Wolf characters that have more than one dimension, but Gav delivers again.

Good snapshot into how some chapters didn't 100% accept the Primaris reinforcements or good old Rowboat.

Not bad. Gave Thorpe is a bit hit or miss for me but I enjoyed this one. It does take about 150 pages, give or take to get into the story but it's well worth it once you do. Enjoy!
