This trio of books was a joy to read. With Demi Gods, Dragons, power hungry God's and humans caught in the middle. Bloody battles and human perseverance wins the day with some help from the good God's and an angry Dragon. Give this trilogy a try you won't regret it.

Too Many Point of Views

When I read the blurb, it only mentioned two people. I wish the blurb would have been more accurate to what the story was about.

After the fourth point of view, in the fourth chapter, I stopped. I am not into a lot of point of views. And it is worse when I’m not expecting it.

Detailed character and world development. I enjoy how the author switches points of view in each book. Really fun read that just gets better and better the deeper into the books you get. Lots of great new characters and a return of some greats from Magelands. Magelands was great but I enjoyed these even more. And there's so many! Amazingly proficient writer. What a talent.

I am thoroughly engrossed with this story. The battles, the power struggles, love interests, fantasy and flow of the plot are wonderfully combined to draw you in (for me at least).

I have read over two years of daily reading. Finding unique stories and engaging authors is a challenge to say the least.

The Magelands Eternal Series so reminds me of the Norse Sagas what with larger than life characters in a world where war reigns Supreme for centuries between mortals and an insectlike predator life form that preys on humans in their millions.
There are also gods and demigods very much interacting with the mortals mostly not for the common good either.
What with twists and surprises equally part of the order of the day, this is a series that will seriously engage your full attention deep into the night page after page, book after book.
Perhaps just as well that the first three books is a complete trilogy in itself, though the series continues to a total of twelve books... so far.

An Engaging Trilogy

Unlike many epic fantasies, I enjoyed most of the narrators in this trilogy. Book one is a bit of a set up for the big problem, but it introduces the characters well. Book two was an “Empire Strikes Back” sort of story, so I wasn’t a huge fan of it. The resolution in book three left me wanting a bit and a few of the solutions felt forced, but I had to stay up late to finish it, so that tells the real story.

It was a bit of a chore to start this series and your getting acquainted with all the character but once you get the start finished the rest of the series is excellent. It was nice once familiar with the world and who each character is. As you read you will love the good guys and despise the bad guys. It has pretty much everything your looking for if you like magic and warriors. Great series and looking forward to the next set.

Interesting world building with villains that are truly villainous. The build up was slow but remained interesting. Many die during this series which added a bit more interest for me. The magic system was not explained as well as I would like but there are many more books on the series. I will continue the series.
