I loved this book but then I've always believed there has to be a little something to the big foot legends.
I love Mark and his horribly dark side with a twisted sick sense of humor, aka Tim!
But really, a hysterical romance? I hope it's so far back in history that a velociraptor is still around!

I’ll start off saying I am a huge fan of the whole Mike universe. I’ve read all the different series and have loved them to varying degrees.

This one falls on the low end of that scale.

All the characters seem muted. Mike’s crazy has been turned down to a 2. The bickery banter with BT is turned way down. Even Tripp seemed less

The plot was alright. I don’t know. It didn’t have the same hook and flow as most of the others.

Mark Tufo has such a masterful way of writing that not only does one become immersed in his books, but actually feels part of them. His story telling and character development are par none. Can’t say anything greater than that.

I love this book - Mike Talbot quickly became my favorite character of all time, and when I saw another story coming out I jumped on it. This one didn’t disappoint and even had a few surprises along the way. A definite must read for any Tufo fan!

Mark, if you read this - please never stop writing and PLEASE keep the Talbot and crew adventures coming!

I enjoyed this book very much. The snippets of humor between the two main characters were a blessed relief from the intense goings on. I kind of pictured Danny Glover and Richard Dreyfus. The character’s characters were intensely original and riveting….every one.

Ordinarily, a book about yetis would not be a part of my normal pastime. Reading about zombies? Yep! Vampires? For sure!! But when my favorite author finished the Zombie Fallout Serious and came out with a new book, there was no way I couldn’t check it out. I enjoyed reading about the major players I’ve come to know and love. The story line was great and horribly possible (minus the yetis, I think), and in Tufo’s normal, magical way, he draws you in and puts you right in the story. It was graphic and gross, which I am a fan of (Ever read Tim? It’s not as bad as that) with so much smart-assed humor that we come to expect from our hero, Mike Talbot. I couldn’t put it down, and have taken Alaska off of my bucket list!!

Fast paced, natural disasters and plot twists that took me to unexpected places. Standalone book but maybe there is a follow up? Editing was flawless and if there is a "next" am pretty sure will involve the end results of the natural disaster in this book as opposed to the creepy part - no spoilers here. This was a difficult story to put down.
