I had the honor of reading this anthology early and was blown away by the quality of the stories contained within these pages. Just when I think I could not be any more impressed by the amazing authors that surround me, I receive an anthology like this and am overwhelmed and surprised by the sheer talent that pours from the fingertips of these authors. Eric Butler nails a truly creepy tale in his story, The Mall Santa, while Steve Stred showers us with plenty of nightmare fuel in Tradition. Lex H. Jones, a new to me author, penned a disturbing tale in a story called Top Floor: Seasonal Furnishings and Christmas Decorations. This one left a shiver going up my spine, while Clitoris Krampus made me cringe in places that I didn’t know I had.
So many good stories here, too difficult to name a favorite, but well worth your time in reading over the wonder winter season. Be sure to pick this one, it’ll become a favorite.

This was another great collection of Christmas horror presented by KJK Publishing! I am always impressed with the authors gathered for these books and I always seem to find new authors to explore.

These stories will take you deep into the horror realm with barely a chance of escape. So snuggle down deep into your cozy chair, with a hot cup of your favorite beverage, and read this book of holiday horror that will have your Christmas tree shaking in fear! Giving this book five Holiday Horrific stars!

The Best of Indie Horror: Christmas Edition is a dark collection of Christmas Horror, and some of these stories will mess you up.

I was duly impressed with how disturbing these stories are. The different takes on Krampus alone are enough to bring the horror to your festive holiday season—“Tradition” by Steve Stred is a Krampus themed story that will mess up Christmas traditions in your head forever. In addition to some non-traditional Krampus tales, there’s the horrification of Santa, terrifying elves, corrupt and perverse mall Santas, and other stories that make one want to stay home with the doors locked for the duration of the holidays.

There is nothing festive here. These stories are horrifying, terrifying, and depraved, and are written by some incredible indie horror authors—I see you, Eric Butler.

The Best of Indie Horror: Christmas Edition is the definitive Christmas horror collection.

KJK never disappoints

Kevin never disappoints, whether in collections or his own novels. This one delivers. Traditions by Steve stred is an excellent story to start out a collection with. Pennies for Santa is an amazing story from rj roles, Santa claws by Patrick reuman is great and I want to check out more of his work. Then you end the book with the Christmas cabin from hell by Mr. Kevin J. Kennedy. And you have an excellent "christmas" book to enjoy.

Having recently read his novella, Halloween Land, and enjoying it immensely, I was eager to dive into The Best of Indie Horror: Christmas Edition, presented by Kevin J. Kennedy, and I can't recommend it enough! The book offers a mixing-pot of eleven holiday tales from some of the most talented writers today, such as RJ. Roles, Steve Stred, Veronica Smith, Patrick Reuman, and many others. I personally love holiday-themed horror, turning tropes on their head, exchanging sweet-smelling candy with coal, replacing Santa with Krampus. These are no lullabies so prepare yourself for a scary good time this Christmas season.
