Great story

This was really a great story! All those years chasing a vicious criminal who killed his Father. The only problem was Sheriff George didn't feel any satisfaction after the criminal was hanged. Loved how Sheriff George trained his terrified young Deputy and watch the youngster grow. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

I couldn’t put it down! Loved the ending, loved how it all came together. George made sure crime didn’t pay, as far back as the Wild West! But then that sounds like a cliche’ too, doesn’t it? Read it, you’ll really enjoy it! I did. Enough that I’m going to track down some more of Jesse Storms books!

Book could have been much better if it wasn’t for obvious grammatical errors. Writer said floor many times when it should have been ground. Obviously the writer knew nothing about horses and terminology. Editing was almost non existent. Repetitiveness was boring and there was no character building. There was very little sense of the inside of the characters except superficially.

When George is just a lad, his father Sheriff Fred Donovan was killed in a bank robbery shoot out with Wyatt and his gang. Years later, Wyatt is still an outlaw and George is the sheriff. George foils a train robbery and all the outlaws meet an untimely death. They were part of Wyatt’s gang and now Sheriff George is his main target. Plenty of action and a happy ending.

O this book didn’t impress me, it seemed forced and just lacked truth in its story. It was almost like having a Superman Sheriff and it was a bit much to swallow, especially with the frightened and pretty useless new deputy that had little in the way of courage and sounded like a teenager. Why the author kept referring to the ground as the floor is beyond me.
