Good for the most part

This is for the most part a good collection of short stories. Had it not been for the stories by Yvonne Navarro and Delilah Dawson it would be a 5 star book.

Those two unfortunately seem to only know what they have learned from pictures about the source material rather than read other books or even watch the movies. The stories in question are decent, but follow no logic in the AVP universe, but would have been good if they were stand alone.

Overall, a good read, but for fans of the franchise some decisions in the aforementioned stories will disappoint you. Enjoy!

Nice collection of short stories

Most of the stories are okay, if almost too short. I didn't care for the SJW tone for most of them but could ignore it most of the time. Still, this isn't in the same league as If It Bleeds or Bughunt. The quality of the stories here are just okay and most have a disappointing non-conclusive ending. There are better Alien and Predator anthologies out there.

If you are familiar with the Alien vs Predators universe you can relate to the stories. I found most predictable which was a little disappointing. A good read and I found "Film School" my favorite. This one in my opinion has the potential for a great novel. I want to know what happened.

The cover pic is my one real complaint. It’s basically identical to the movie cover pic as well another AvP novelization. If you want to inspire people to pick up a book for a franchise that’s fallen on hard times and going through major change (hopefully for the better) then try something more fierce on the cover.
