This is a story of Jesse who is the twin of Wyatt. When he gets kidnapped she learns that Magik is real and that the two of them are powerful magi. I like how the story builds the personalities, showing the bonds between the characters and their reactions to their emotions. Will she rescue her brother? Will she learn to use her Magik? Will she survive the week long endurance race?

I love how take no bull Jess is, and the supporting characters almost all have my support. The bad guys make me wanna do some harm. Great start!

Its a good read. The story starts a bit slow but works out. You end up with a team you're engaged with. Worth some time, but could use more spice.

This is an extremely well written story. Twins whose father vanished with a legacy they know nothing about and a trial to get into a very special school.

I just finished binge reading the first 3 books, and I can’t wait until November for book 4. Jesse and her crew are awesome. They are super sweet and caring for all involved. As the books progress she claims more of her me. The story line has kept me entertained and I haven’t felt like the story has lagged at all and maybe instead of 5 books it should have been 3 or 4. I have been entertained the whole time.

Great for those who like when the lead character has no clue about their paranormal roots. When her brother is taken from her she makes a plan to find him. She just didn't plan for his rescue to go like it did. Specially when she has to disguise herself as her twin brother. Multiple points of view but mostly told by her. She has one lover but a few guys she meets, while tracking her brother, catches her eye. I really liked it and can't wait for the next book!
