My favorite of the "If you Give a Mouse a Cookie" works! The illustrations are bright and engaging (so many things for a 3 year old to point out!), the story is cute and moves well, and it's a book I can read to my toddlers over and over again without getting sick of it. Great for transitioning from reading to your child to them reading it themself. When it first arrived, my daughter insisted I read "The Moose Book" and after we finished it, she immediately wanted to read it again (usually she's a 1 book, 1 time, NEXT! girl). After the second time through, she took the book over to the couch and "read" through it by herself cover to cover at least twice. My 2 year old will actually sit all the way through it too, which is saying something because he's usually done with reading after the first couple pages of a book.
My daughter keeps using her socks as puppets. :D

Just received and got charged $8.00 for the Chick-fil-a freebie version of "If You Give A Moose A Muffin". I expected a larger version of the book ar a gently used full sized paper back.
Requesting refund.

So, I got my grand daughter the book and stuffed Mouse from If you give a mouse a cookie. Her twin brother claimed the book for himself. LOL. Well, he loves the book, so when I learned there were others, I grabbed him a few. When he comes to visit, he gets a "close your eyes you'll get a surprise". This week he got this book, and he loves it. He thinks it's hilarious that it's a Moose and not a Mouse. Wait till he see the Pig one!

This is a classic from my childhood that I found myself referring to a lot as a parent myself now. After saying something like "Well, if you give a little girl a cookie, she's going to want another..." for probably the 100th time I finally decided to buy the book for her and show her what the heck I was talking about!

Now I have to buy the series, because, well, I started a "if you give a..." storm.

I can only blame myself.

There's something out Mr. Moose. Kids and parents both love the real thing, so how can you go wrong with a book about him?
This is a wonderful book for children of toddler age. The animations and the story are both great.
It's silly enough to make you laugh, but not so much so that you'll get sick of it with repeated readings.
It's a classic which you'll want to pass down thru generations and purchase for all your friends.
