How customer reviews and ratings work

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

I hardly ever like a sequel to anything, but this follow up was amazing. Not to take away from the first book in the series, because that one was amazing in its own right. This book, however, had a thicker plot with a lot more background story. I loved it. I’ll mostly likely read it again in the future.

I am a little confused. Alpha doesn't seem like the Alpha in the first book. Sigma is stronger. You let that sex trafficking pimp kill all those people, even his brother. Potions of this book make me absolutely sick. In Alpha's book Morgan was the rich one. That is why I hate the second book that sometimes talk about the person in the first book. I am afraid to read about Gamma, Omega and Zeta. In the first book they had mates. I will read Stryker because he wasn't at their compound. I hope I am not disappointed.

… it was just too damn much drama that dragged on way too long. This book could have been wrapped up way sooner, instead of stretching out scenes and adding needless dialogues. The storyline became tiresome and overworked. Book 1:Alpha was better with a much more even balance.
Although things in this book end well for Sigma and Shilo, it isn’t a complete HEA. This ends with the set up to find the next hidden compound and Hammond.
If there is another addition to the series, I’ll probably skip it if its similar to this.

It was hard to finish this book. It was difficult reconciling this book with the first one. I understand Sigma's character was not supposed to be a replica of Alpha, yet, it was not well executed. It felt like the author wanted to create another "Alpha" and portrayed the original one as weak & yearning for his brothers/people's approval compared to Sigma. As for Shiloh, she was too fickle and annoying compared to Morgan. Hopefully, Stryker's story will be more captivating.

What I love most is that a lot of questions that I had in book 1 are answered in book 2. Like that we saw a POV from a “super soldier.” Not as good as the first but still good!

A few grammar issues.

The plot was standard romance novel material. A decent read for a short time but it has a few editing issues. It begins to stray into confusing language and improper grammar towards the end. I will probably still read the next book.

I really enjoyed reading the beginning of this book, it was well written and interesting. Unfortunately, once Shiloh arrives at the top-secret military base, the story goes downhill. I thought it was a really stupid move on her part to ask Miguel not to kill that crazy bitch, Candace. And of course, she comes back to attack Shiloh over and over. At least the author allows Shiloh to reap the outcome of her actions/decisions. The more I read, the more I dislike Shiloh and her bad luck/karma that she brings upon herself with her poor decisions which become her reality.
