Paul was happy with his life. Content to live under his parents roof, taking for granted the luxuries their wealth offered him, even acquiescing to his Motherโs strictures. He was Mayor of a small town, with a large clan of wolf shifters, he drove a beautiful sports car, was well liked and played the field of women with great gusto. Until he met the one woman who took one look at him, recognized him for the player he was and shot him down with a look and a quick quip.
Nora admitted to herself she was attracted to Paul but, she had no use or time for rich playboys. She was hear to do a job. Find out if wolves had moved into the forestry area around this small town. If so, this would mean real problems for the ranches around here. They would lose their grazing rights. She was the expert on the nature of wolves, and the best of trackers. Paul swore there were no wolves in the area and he was bound and determined to follow in every step of her search. Not only to find out the real truth about the wolves sightings but to keep her safe. He was so drawn to her, he has a hard time focusing on anything else.
There was no mystery as to the wolf sightings, as far as the Clan Council was concerned, but how to stop villain would take careful action on their part. In the meantime, Nora and Paul were falling hard for each other, but Paulโs Mother was bound and determined to stop her son from having anything to do with a poor city worker.
An engaging romance with spice, a wake up call to grow up, and a couple of problems to solve. A paranormal romance with just the right touches to keep the reader turning pages and perhaps looking for the next edition to learn a little about the characters in the series of tales. All are stand alone tales with good finishes, that lead into the next.
