book 2 in Taroniah story!

I quite enjoyed this one, not sure what the second book with the bowman is in this series, but this is the sequel I was expecting. It was fun and enjoyable. We get to see emotions and baggage that comes with her powers. It was good.
A few minor flaws I’ll mention, without which I’d have given it five stars.
Firstly there is one random chapter about a magician who has no bearing on anything else in the story, characters, nothing, that’s thrown in for no reason. It contributes absolutely nothing to the plot, characters, or world building.
Secondly, there is a lot of repetitive very detailed and wordy descriptions of every one of her battles. They don’t need explained multiple times through written out dialogue. Showing their opinions of her, weather awe or fear can be shown through action, responses, etc.
Lastly, there were some noticeable clunky sentences here and there that pulled me out of the story because of how they were written. Not many but enough that I noticed and through I’d mention it.
All in all, I enjoyed it. The negative feed back is more for the author to consider than to warn off readers, they simple make the story good instead of great.
