Acceptable holiday romance

Once Upon a Sexy Scrooge was ok. I really couldn't relate to the characters, except for maybe the Noble Tree Farm itself, and maybe the Noble sisters.
Maxwell was a rude jerk, and I would have thrown him out that night he showed up. I don't care how good looking he is, a person doesn't show up on another's doorstep, and demand he sell his family business to him.
To me, the story was too unbelievable. The sass and snark were smile inducing, the sexy times were steamy, and the setting was well written.
I've read plenty of books by these authors, and for me, I just didn't connect with the characters.

What a sweet, feel good, holiday book! Micah and Maxwell were on complete opposite ends of the holiday spirit. Max was focused on his career and everything Xmas was irritating to him. Micah was full of joy and happiness with his home and family and the magic of the holidays. Their relationship started off tense to say the least, but Micah was determined to show Max what the holiday spirit was all about. There was some great dialogue, a nice build up to some steamy times, and a sweet HEA. It was just what I needed to put me in the holiday spirit!

This book was just an easy, light, lovely story. There were things that I felt were missing, small things I would've loved to know, maybe an interaction between Max and his family, something so upsetting that Micah would've had to intervene and comfort Max.
There was also an entire year gap, I would've loved to have more info about how miserable they were and what they were thinking.

Swoon! I loved Micah and Maxwell’s story! It was the perfect feel good holiday book I was looking for! I loved how these two saturated at such odds with each other. Maxwell coming to Micah’s small town in hopes of buying his family’s tree farm property. I enjoyed the twist with Micah showing Maxwell what he was missing with his Scrooge view on the holidays. I loved the chemistry that developed between these two as Micah shared his version of the holidays with Maxwell. While a shorter story, their connection was strong and the sexy times were steamy and sweet!
