One of the best things is that Chuck Norris is NOT in this feature! A perfect mixture of "Kick Butt & Comedy"! The entire cast is great and despite my personal favorites, it is quite difficult to select on or two over the rest, they all did an excellent job. A perfect sequel for "RED". - - truly waiting for a RED 3!

I purchased Red 1 & 2. I mistakenly clicked on Red 2 first and immediately shut it off... then watched Red 1. It took a couple of days to find the time to watch '2' but Amazon would not allow me to view it. I'm assuming because of the 6 seconds it played on my computer. I checked and found out I have no way to complain, or request a refund, or request a viewing date, I'm just out the $2.99. I did see this in the theater and liked it better than '1'. Not as good as the first RED, but more importantly it was cut just like Amazon's offering of RED 1. This is far from being the first of movies that I have bought or rented from Amazon. Getting pretty tired of this policy, not to mention feeling ripped off. I am thinking about not renewing my Prime subscription which is getting more expensive without any prior notification. Amazon's getting to big for it's britches, and the last place you should be cutting corners is in Prime subscription services................I am far from being the only person who feels this way. This practice feels real close to misrepresentation and extortion. People are tired of getting ripped off at every corner. Wake up! Stop this practice, we are the cash paying customers!

The RED movies are fun action movies with great characters. The script, acting, locations, choreography, street chases, quips, and interactions are so entertaining.

The only bad word used is s___, and that is rare. Other than small facial wounds that heal quickly, there's no blood. The rating is PG-13.

I have no idea why there are people who are disappointed with their digital purchase at a terrific low price, and don't understand that there is NO REIMBURSEMENT of digital property.

I highly recommend RED and RED 2.

A fitting sequel with a great mix of action comedy and characters

Red 2 was a worthy sequel. It brought together all the major players from the first film including Bruce Willis as Frank Moses, John Malkovich as Marvin, Mary-Louise Parker as Sarah, and Helen Mirren as Victoria. Frank and Marvin are wanted again for something called Operation Nightshade, a secret plan to smuggle a nuclear weapon into Moscow during the Cold War. A secret U.S. organization wants this information and hires Jack Horton played by Neal McDonough and Han Cho Bai played by Lee Byung-Hun to find it. They chase Moses and friends across America, France, England and finally Russia. It turns out a crazed scientist named Bailey, played by Anthony Hopkins, was the brains behind the bomb and know where it is.

Like the first Red movie there is a good mix of action, comedy and characters. It doesn’t take itself too seriously either and is always happy with throwing in some comedic moments. The characters are all a little quirky as well which makes them fun to watch especially when Frank and Marvin get talking.

There’s a twist at the end as well to keep the viewer on their toes.

I have seen both Red #1 and #2 at the movies and liked both of them so much that I have purchased them when they came out on DVD. I liked Reds 2 even more than Reds 1. This movie can be considered both a comedy and an action film combination and also has a fantastic cast. They include: Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, Mary-Louis Parker, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Byung Lee, Anthony Hopkins and Helen Mirren. There is nothing like a combination kind of movie which has both humor and action.

RED means “Retired-Extremely-Dangerous.” In this DVD Frank Moses (Bruce Willis) gets his old CIA black-ops group together again to search for a portable nuclear device. In their quest they run up against a whole group of bad people such as terrorists, assassins and of course the corrupt and power hungry government officials.

If you like an entertaining comedy and action movie with lots of great stars you should check out this Red #2 DVD. A fun to watch movie.

Hopkins adds a new dynamic to this sequel and he keeps you guessing as to his motivations. The steelbook is a welcome edition to any collection and I would recommend it to friends, great sequel and I have to say I hope there are more sequels in the offing
