I purchased this protection plan for a video doorbell. The doorbell stopped working and was out of the manufacturers warrantee. Thankfully I had purchased the Asurion extended warrantee offered through Amazon. I contacted the company (tried by phone but had much better luck through email) they responded quickly with some suggestions to try. When that didn’t work they had me return it to them (sent me paid postage) and when it couldn’t be fixed they refunded me the full cost of the doorbell. That was the part I liked most of all. The refund enabled me to buy a new doorbell and allowed me the option to choose if I wanted to buy the same one or a different one. Most places I’ve had experience with will replace the item with exactly the same thing. I highly recommend purchasing an extended warrantee from Asurion. I know I always will.
