"Fun and Easy-to-Learn" - by supershopper
Good, easy to learn game, even for kids. We had a group of three adults + 1 child playing. A full game would consist of 11 total hands (rounds), starting with a 3-card hand, then a 4-card hand, then 5.. all the way until the last hand of 13 is dealt. The goal is to get rid of all of your cards before a round is over; any remaining cards in your hand have a point value and are counted against you. At the end of the game, the player with the most points loses.

Admittedly, the first round took us a while as we got accustomed to keeping score, how to set the cards, etc., etc. One thing that I did not find in the instructions was how each round should be dealt (does the dealer rotate with each new hand? Does winner deal? Loser?). We just ... full review

"Great game!" - by Z. Raizen
Scrimish is an easy to learn game and fun to play! The strategy can be challenging, but the game is quick and fun, and very portable. I haven't tried a 4 person game yet, but even with 2 people it is great!
"Very accessible yet fun game for the whole family" - by Peter Barney (Columbus, Ohio, USA)
This is a family-friendly, fun card game similar to Scrabble, but without a board. You make one or more words out of the cards you're dealt, picking up a new card and discarding and old one each time you go around. It's very uncomplicated and straight forward.

But there's something a little more interesting about this game...

First some background: my siblings and I all love word games. Scrabble, Banangrams, Boggle, Words with Friends, crossword puzzles, you name it. My mom -- the world's greatest crossword puzzle solver -- passed down to us an interesting ability to see words in a pile of letters. So naturally, we're skilled and competitive at word games.

Despite this, for some unknown reason, those of us that tend to be the best at word games consistently finish in last place with this game! Those without the special gift for words tend ... full review

"My favorite one player game" - by Mac McD (York, Pa)
I'm not huge on solitaire games, but this one I enjoyed. The game play is easy to learn- yet challenging enough to keep you coming back for more games. The theme is fantastic, and the art does a great job of supporting it. My favorite one player game hands down.

"A simple filler game that really makes you think." - by Chris Jachimowicz (Topton, PA United States)
Red 7 is simple in execution and yet challenging in its design. With less cards than in a standard playing deck, Red 7 requires the player to think several moves ahead and at the same time be prepared to deal with the whims of fate and luck as other players take their turns.

The deck holds 7 "suits" of cards, with each suit identified by a different color of the rainbow and with cards numbered 1 to 7 from lowest to highest. In the same way, colors are also ranked low to high - from purple to red. Each color also has a corresponding rule. For instance, Red corresponds to "Highest Card Wins."

Each player is dealt seven cards to form their hand, and one card face up to start their palette. A red starter card is placed in the center of the table to start the "canvas." The ... full review

"Great game. Misalignment issues persist, but remedied by hassle-free replacement." - by Amazon Customer
Bought the main 5th edition game along with the [[ASIN:B00U26V9CU Catan 5-6 Player Extension - 5th Edition]], since I've enjoyed playing previous versions of the game with friends. I found this version on Amazon and decided to purchase it despite some of the comments about misaligned pieces. Unfortunately, some of the number tokens, terrain hexes, and Building Cost cards were off center. While this does not affect the game play (which is still excellent), it does detract from the perceived quality of the product. Details at the bottom of the review.

The replacement process was painless and straight forward. I provided pictures, an explanation of the defects, and quantities of the affected pieces. I received replacement pieces at no cost after 3 weeks. The pieces were from the previous edition of the game, which I don't particularly mind. They are well printed and will add a bit of variety ... full review
"Entertaining and simple" - by AKJ
It only took 1 game for everyone to understand the rules.

This game reminded me of a German card game with a similar idea, but was more complicated. I don't remember that game's name but I remember the rules, and you can play it with these cards. The German rules made the game more fun and challenging. (You'll need 120 cards for 4 players though)

I can explain the rules if anyone wants to know them >.>

"It was a hit with the family!" - by Amazon Customer
When I visit family, I like to take games every once in a while because the kids love them. I bought this game pair (it was bundled with the game SET) thinking the kids would love SET and Karma would just an added bonus, but the entire family wanted to play Karma over and over. It was definitely a hit.

"I love this game" - by Elisa C.
I love this game! It is a great solo game and I haven't even played all the expansions yet. The art is beautiful and the basic game is simple enough for older children to learn. The extra expansions that are included help raise the difficulty level which makes this game so re-playable. I can't wait for more games from this designer. I will purchase them all! Cannot recommend this more! If you like solitaire you will enjoy this wonderful imaginatively designed game.

"Arkham Horror the LCG" - by PJ
Arkham Horror the LCG is the natural progression of the Lord of the Rings LCG. It plays best with 1-2 players although with a second core set you can play 1-4 players and you have access to all cards needed to maximize your deckbuilding options.

Players have 3 actions each turn to decide whether they will investigate mysteries (similar to questing) by moving to different locations, fight or run from bad guys, or play assets in their hand. Each investigator has their own unique strengths. Each player also has weaknesses which can affect the game at the most inopportune times.

As players investigate scenarios and discover clues they attempt to progress an act deck by passing skill tests. Their skills are modified by the use of chaos tokens which influence the outcome. During the mythos phase (or enemy phase) the agenda deck gets doom tokens which advance ... full review

"Nice game" - by SarahLou1976
We were looking for a few new games to add to our board game collection, and I remembered playing this a few years ago when we went away with some friends. The plastic holder is nice, but can be tricky to get too many cards under the clip, its probably just as easy to use the cards without the plastic section.

The game itself is really fun and kept us all amused for almost 5 hours the other night!

"5 year old approved!" - by Meghan
I bought this game through an Amazon Lighting Deal so I didn't pay the current list price of $19.99. I paid $14.99 and I still think it was a bit much for what it is. You get cards and corn pieces. The goal is to get the most corn pieces and keep them by guessing if the next card laid down is going to be higher or lower than the one face up in the pile. That's it!

I feel $20 is too much for just a card game but it really just depends on if your kids like it. My 5 year old thought it was fun but we turned it into an extra fun game of Go Fish! The numbers go up to 15, so it's great for teaching number recognition! The quality of the cards are great and the corn is a fun add. It does ... full review
"Our favorite family game!" - by Joanne Callahan
Our family loves UNO. This is a great card game for young to old. We have adapted our own version of "Speed Uno" and get the family racing around the table to be the first to slap the cards if a 6 is put down or swap hands with your neighbor if you lay down a 0. The cards are good quality and they arrived promptly. A very delightful family game that never fails us at home or traveling. We never go on a trip without taking our UNO cards along!

"So glad I found KLOO!" - by SLM
I bought all four card decks (people, places, everyday objects, eating & drinking) because other reviewers recommended doing that. Great decision! Learning to play the game is so easy! The instructions include pictures and you can be playing in two minutes. If you prefer videos, they have instructional videos (1-2 minutes) on how to play the games on kloogames dot com and You Tube. I teach high school kids and they LOVE this game! The pronunciation keys on the cards make it easy for any reader to use.

We love the card games so much, we can't wait to get the board games, too! Race to Paris and Race to Madrid. Thank you Kloo Games for adding some fun and excitement to our language classes!
