"Decent phone for the price, with a couple of issues." - by Matt (Oxford, MS USA)
UPDATE 6/13/18: Motorola finally released Android 8.1 for this phone.

First off I will say that you MUST update this phone to the latest patch level, which as of this post is March 2018, as previous versions have a bug where it simply will not connect to any data network. As of this review Android 8.1 is not available, and there is no information when or if that might happen. While the latest patch, as of this review, fixes the data connection issue, sometimes it will lose LTE and even 3G connectivity for no reason, which is fixed by simply turning mobile data off and back on, and hopefully will be remedied in the next patch.

Now that that's said, overall it's a decent mid range phone with a solid mid range Snapdragon SoC. It's not going to play heavy games or record 4k60 video, but it's not going to lag down ... full review

"I like the fast speed it delivers running apps" - by LJ (FILLMORE, ILLINOIS, US)
I bought this about a week and a half ago. I have always had Samsung Galaxy phones and they were awsome. My Galaxy 6.3 is still going strong but I can't update it past kitkat. So I bought this phone after seeing some of the reviews. I like the fast speed it delivers running apps. Not quite as bloated ads as the Samsung. It has a built in battery but it can be changed but not easily. No sd card slots but my phone has 64gb so that is not an issue. The only thing I don't like about it is that you can only pinch the screen in certain apps where as my Samsung could be pinched on almost any screen. Also the volume buttons are to close together for a man who has a big hand. Captuing a screenshot requires two hand. It seems to be well made ... full review
"although the new phones were sold with a super rapid charger" - by Frank Murphy (Manasquan, NJ)
Since I have posted five stars, I guess I have nothing to critique? It came with a perfectly adequate Motorola wall/usb charger, although the new phones were sold with a super rapid charger. Other than that, the best phone I have ever had. I am a Straight Talk customer, and yes it does work beautifully with this network. My last phone was a Galaxy Note 2, which was a great phone, this one is at least 100% better. I highly recommend this phone, a great purchase. Thank you

"Great phone!" - by Apple Cohen
I was previously on a Windows Lumia 830. I thought migrating to Android and Google Pixel would be a massive step up - in terms of speed of the OS switching between apps (response lag) and in terms of the phone quality itself. It turns out that the Windows OS is superior to Android - way better in fact - but of course no one makes apps for Windows...and Google navigation is great amongst other apps of course. ANyway, the phone is fast, but not lightening fast in terms of switching between apps and opening apps. But it does not frustrate - it is fast enough.
The camera is awesome. 5 stars there. The fingerprint scanner is also excellent. The Pixel does not come preloaded with all the junk they load on Samsung, which is great. The S8 may be an object of beauty, but I wanted a phone that does ... full review

"Received a great device in mint condition" - by Amazon Customer (San Francisco, CA United States)
Since my 2 year old Nexus 5x finally hit the dreaded bootloop issue and I needed a phone faster than LG would turn around a warranty replacement, I found myself in the market for a new phone.

Being a Project Fi subscriber, this pretty much narrowed down my choices to the Moto 4x or a Pixel 2 phone. I ruled out the 4x because I've had bad experiences when it comes to Android software updates for non-Google Android phones in the past. Unfortunately the Pixel phones are significantly more expensive than the Nexus phones used to be, hence the decision to go refurbished.

I ended up ordering a "Kinda Blue" Pixel 2 (64GB) from Kanga Supply. The phone shipped quickly and arrived on time via UPS. This was critical for me since I needed the replacement phone to arrive before going on a trip. The vendor had sent the phone requiring signature ... full review

"This phone is nearly perfect! (At Flagship Level)" - by Ed S (Dallas)
I was looking for a phone with Dual SIM Service to carry when traveling aboard and avoid carrying my AT&T and T-Mobile Phones. I purchased 3 phones and none of those gave me the performance and features that I was expecting (Asus ZenFone 5Q, NUU G3, BLU Vivo XL3), and this one surpased all expectations. I will be using this phone to exchange my LG G6 and LG V30 and use only this one and it honestly is at the level of the LG V30 in many features (camera, audio, screen, battery, speed, software, RF reception -Cell and WiFi-.

The only inconvenience is that because this is the international version, the native firmware of the phone does not allow Wi-Fi calling which is on a high demand and need in the US when you are working from home or with poor cellphone coverage, so be aware of this!

For everything else (despite ... full review

"It's very hard to mess up installing this screen protector -- hinges make all the difference!" - by Walt Bristow (Lynchburg, Virginia)
Easy as pie. What makes this screen protector easier to install than any other I've used is the stickers used to attach the screen protector and the device after you've aligned the protector. With every other protector I've used in the past, you had to 'drop' the screen protector on to the device very carefully so it would be aligned. Here you align the protector, attach the stickers to make 'hinges' and THEN you take off the protective layer. Then all you have to do is swing the protector screen on those 'hinges' and it ends up exactly where it needs to be. Great improvement. Wish I had thought of it before.
"Great phone and battery for the price" - by Mojo Star
Upgraded from the original z play, even though the battery is a bit smaller it all lasts almost 2 days. Quick phone with enough ram and onboard storage never a hiccup despite it being a 6 series snapdragon. The front camera is fantastic and even with a real front flash! People are impressed how good it looks compared with a real flash compared to my wife's S7 and it's screen flash. Thin and light phone with moto mods make it a worth while experience. My last phones were a mate 9 and V10 and I don't miss flagships at all (except the new trend of phones with a high screen to body ratio)

"FANS OF MOTOROLA CELLPHONES, THIS IS FOR YOU..." - by MARK AUSTIN
Replacing my somewhat out-dated "Moto X," this 4th generation "Moto G" is more than I expected from an android, and much more than the original "X" cellphone. Too much to list as features go, this phone will NOT disappoint fans of any Motorola cellphone!!

"Borders don't block the screen, but the alignment is slightly off at the top" - by Arthur Davis
My main concern was that this cover would partially block the screen because of the borders but there is no screen blockage with the covers I got. The cutouts at the bottom for the fingerprint button and mic align very well when the screen is properly aligned, however the holes at the top for the front flash and front camera are too high so that they look a little goofy but it doesn't block anything. The setup supplies are good, just grip tightly when you remove the film because it tends to snag at the bottom.
This screen cover only adheres to the edges because the curvature of the X4 screen creates a gap around the borders with flat adhering screen protectors. I've only had it on for a few hours but it looks good so far. the Cover does feel a little thick out of my case but once it's ... full review

"Beautiful Device. Incredible Value" - by Rick
I purchased the V-30 when launched in October 2017and absolutely loved it. The quad dac/amp is incredible. When the G-7 ThinQ came out on T-MOBILE I fell in love with the form factor and purchased it. I really like the upgraded audio on the G-7 with the DTS-X Surround and adjustable equalizer neither of which are on the V-30. So when I found the V-35 ThinQ on Amazon for $250 less than anyone else and with the upgraded audio from the new G-7 ThinQ I had to have it. This device is superb. Great screen cameras audio all outstanding. Highly recommend this device to audiophiles. Read the V-30 quad dac review on Stereophile. This is the best priced true flagship device available. Update: When Amazon had this amazing device on sale Black Friday for $549 I bought the Platinum version. Pictures don’t do it justice. The Platinum finish is ... full review
