"The absolute BEST protein powder I have ever had" - by Reynolds
Alright, I'll start off by saying this is the BEST protein powder I have ever had. I have tried multiple brands (big and small, MLM or bought at target) and a lot I have trashed. I have a degree in nutrition and fitness, I'm a wife, a boy mom chef, a very busy online nutrition and fitness professional.

I don't have time for crappy products. I don't want to be eating or drinking them, I won't recommend them to my clients and I certainly won't give them to my kids or family. Thankfully this product hit the amazing mark in everything.

1. The plant protein sources; pea, flax, quinoa, pumpkin and chia. Pea protein is an awesome source of protein along with the carbs we want. Flax and chia are great sources of omega 3's (which we all need more of since we are typically high in omega 6 which causes ... full review
"Really hard to get good protien when your trying to avoid high dairy and ..." - by Kit's Cache
Really hard to get good protien when your trying to avoid high dairy and gluten. This is a great option. Not a sweet product by any means, I like to mix with coconut milk. Be advised, this is coming from a guy that likes pancake batter haha!
"My New Vegan Staple. Perfect for Cooking Sauces." - by Andrea Manha
This has become a great vegan staple item for me. It's unsweetened, which is nice when I need a break from the super sweet flavors, and has only a light flavor, so its perfect for mixing into sauces to make the sauces thicker while adding some protein (but only add one scoop or so per serving or else you can taste the protein). Very happy with my purchase.
"Concerned about new packaging" - by Unni
The reason for this review is the new packaging.

The new packaging says "new and improved with 30% more protein". But when I compared the nutrition information with the old packaging, this is what I saw:

Old packaging \ new packaging
Total weight: 622 g \ 568 g
Protein per serving: 17g \ 22g
Serving size 1 scoop: 22g \ 28g
Serving size per container: 28 \ 20
Price: $28.21 \ $31.68 (Jan 2016 \ July 2016)

I am giving 4 stars because I don't have any complaints about the powder quality. But trust is an extremely important factor for something that goes into my body. The claims in the new packaging makes me question that. The new bottle is taller than the older one, but it is only half full. Scoop is bigger as well. New packaging has less powder for higher price. New one has some extra ingredients though.

Ingredients (Old):
a. Organic raw sprout blend:
Organic sprouted brown ... full review
"Great tasting protein" - by W. Fu (Los Angeles, CA)
Great tasting protein. I typically try to have a shake for breakfast every morning so I go through containers pretty regularly. I've had everything from GNC to Quest so was a bit hesitant to try vegan protein. I'd say I was pleasantly surprised and was a great change of pace, the taste is great and the powder mixes easily.
"This is a good powder. I can't stand the taste of stevia ..." - by "palm girl"
This is a good powder. I can't stand the taste of stevia but it's not real noticeable in this powder. I mix mine with unsweetened almond milk and cinnamon and it's pretty tasty. I don't stay full long with this but that's most likely because I only use one scoop of powder...overall I feel like this shake was a really good choice and I'll continue to order.
"Finding your flavor is like being Goldilocks in the Garden of Life!! (Reviews for all options except Vanilla)" - by Katie (Twin Cities, MN)
I'm writing this review as someone who has tried the unflavored, chocolate, and vanilla spiced chai.

First things first, this is ridiculously healthy. It will absolutely make you have more energy and keep you full for a surprising amount of time, blah blah blah. There are enough reviews saying this, so let me get into the nitty gritty.

Something that can be revulsive to people trying this to the first time are the texture; say farewell to the dairy based meal replacement shakes that reminded you of your childhood Yoohoo days! This stuff is thick. Unless you are prepared to chug it right away, I recommend extra liquid for one scoop of powder. Upon my first use, I made my shake (two scoops of powder to their recommended liquid) and got in my car. When I arrived at my destination, I popped the lid of my shaker bottle to find it had ... full review
"Found my forever favorite protein powder! Don't be discouraged by the fructose - Read this!" - by k9k8
OMG best protein powder ever, and I've tried A LOT... will be re-ordering for sure. First and foremost - For those of you concerned about the fructose ingredient - DON'T BE; I encourage those who would not purchase over this issue to please visit the product's frequently asked questions web page (under ingredients & processing) where fructose is addressed and you'll find some great recipes... You can bake with this!! I ordered the vanilla bean this time, do look forward to trying other flavors though I can see this being a go-to flavor for the versatility factor. First shake I made: combined it with pea milk, greek yogurt, pomegranate seeds, and ice - blended in my ninja for about 15 seconds and voila - a delicious healthy shake in seconds!

This powder absolutely does not have a chalky consistency when properly blended - the texture is smooth, I dare to say ... full review
"Nutrient dense, rich in flavor, but expensive" - by D.A. Lux (Saint Paul, MN)
I have tried dozens of protein powders from many different brands, running the spectrum from whey isolates and caseins, to soy and other vegetarian-based powders -- including Vega Sport Performance. I have a personal training background and am in the gym 4-5 days per week, so I tend to rely on protein supplements to help round out my macronutrients. Vega is a brand that consistently puts out high-quality products with minimal (or no) fillers, so I was expecting good things with the new Protein & Greens product. Here are some key points I found worth noting:

MIXABILITY
This is definitely a thicker shake, which is actually pretty typical of veg-based powders. If you prefer your shakes to be smooth, you'll need to add quite a bit of water. I actually enjoy making protein pudding, so I'll put a scoop of Vega in a bowl, add a minimal amount of water, and mix ... full review
"Great taste and top shelf ingredients" - by Just1Joey (SHERWOOD, AR)
This is a great tasting high quality protein.
That's saying a lot due to having to mix it with water being a person who can't have any milk or any milk type product be it rice milk, soy, almond, etc... It honestly taste very good especially in comparison to others on the market. I mix mine with 8oz of water, 3/4 fresh banana, scoop of ice and a serving of powdered peanut butter. Delicious! Way better than the others with a water mix. Topped with grade A ingredients making this one a home run.
"I like it!" - by K. Ozbirn
My husband and I really like the taste. After being diagnosed with two types of cancers before the age of 25 I started paying closer attention to what I put in my body. I've always been fit and what I thought was healthy. The more I learn about nutrition I've come to realize I might have been fit, but not very healthy. I was looking for an organic plant based protein shake and found orgain organic protein. I was intrigued by the fact a doctor who was diagnosed with cancer developed this powder. I added amazing grass green superfood for added nutrition so I was excited when I saw the orgain organic meal on Amazon. Saves me money and cabinet space. I do add ground flax seed to it. Chocolate is good as well, but you can do a lot more with the vanilla.... You can add vanilla or dark ... full review
