My 15 m.o. son has had the smaller board book version of First 100 Words, First 100 Animals, and First Numbers & Shapes for months now. He loves board books and he really seems to enjoy those books in particular so when I saw the Lift-the-Flap version I knew I had to buy it. Whenever I ask him to bring me a book to read to him, he chooses these books pretty frequently. He also spends a fair amount of time going through them while pointing at each picture and speaking his toddler language to himself. The lift flaps on this book adds another aspect to keep his interest in the book a little longer. These books have held up fairly well to the abuse my toddler has put them through, the pages have been chewed on, pulled on, bent, books have been thrown, yet ... full review

"Love it!" - by Amazon Customer
Great pictures, bright colors, fun words... some of them are a little abstract for first 100 words... abacus, water dragon (instead of lizard), lol. I don't mind, but every once and a while there is an animal or item that is quite unusual and not what I would consider necessary for a first 100 word.

"The best books for teaching word association!" - by Rachel (CONSTANTIA, NEW YORK, US)
I own pretty much all of these books now and for good reason. There is no better book to help your child with word association than these. The bold images are great for helping them learn and make word associations! These worked wonders when teaching my first child and I am now using them for my second child as well.

"Books and Gramma" - by Zekeboy
I bought this book for my soon to be Grandson to read to him when I go visit him. I know my Daughter in law loves the company so I am sure my Grandson will definitely love being read to as much as I will love doing it!! πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•
"For All Families" - by Tasha Saecker
This board book is also available in Spanish. A baby spends her day with her two dads exploring everything from morning to night. Things in their lives are labeled with words, including objects and actions. There are animal noises, foods, clothes, vehicles, and feelings. The entire book is merry and bright, just right for all families to enjoy.

"My daughter loves these books!" - by A. Winder (MA, USA)
My daughter loves these books, this one is her favorite. I purchased this book for my daughter when she was around 7 months old, she loved it then and loves in now at 1.5 years old. She loves pointing to the pictures and saying what they are. I often see her flipping through the pages with our dog. I would recommend this book for infants/toddlers.
"Wish we had bought it sooner" - by LAmom
Our toddler loves this book. I wish I had bought it earlier for her to enjoy. Just keep in mind this book is BIG and therefore heavy. It would probably work well on the floor or an adult holding it up on a lap, but it's way too heavy for my 2 year old to hold it up to look at. I brought it on the car for her to "read" while commuting and noticed that it's unwieldy for her to hold in her car seat.

"Love Love!" - by Tiffany (Florida, USA)
I got this along with the other 2 bright baby books I saw on here (colors and first words) for my book loving 18 month old. He absolutely LOVES them! we have other books similar, but they all have several items per page and he seems to really love that each page is only one thing. He focuses right on it and says all the words he knows and animal sounds. :)

"Great for infants, toddlers or preschoolers" - by Kristy Stout (US)
I have several of these "My First" card sets and I think this is my favorite. These cards seem to be marketed towards infants and toddlers but I think they really work well for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. I think it all depends on what you do with the cards. I work with infants and toddlers that have developmental delays and I love these cards.

Here is what I really like about these cards:

- Size - the cards are 4.25 inches by 7 inches. They are a great size for little hands to hold so they really feel like the size of a book.

- Quality - the cards are a very thick cardboard.

- Picture - the picture is like a photograph so it's a real animal not a drawing or clip art. This is probably for me one of the most important features. Infants and ... full review

"There's a board book option..." - by Logan Klauss
One-star reviewers, y'all understand that this is a book for illiterate children, right? It comes as a board book, and you're clamoring for narrative structure? Got to manage those expectations.
