"Best Bose Headset Yet (Comparison to QC15 and QC20)" - by Jake Flash (Chicago, IL USA)
The QC25 is Bose' best noise cancelling headphone to date. As someone who has been using Bose QC headphones daily for 3+ years now, I think I can give this a reasonably educated review. I have owned QC15 (predecessor to these headphones) for about 3 years now, and have owned QC20 (in-ear headphones) since they came out. My musical tastes are varied: everything from Yiruma to Taylor Swift to Childish Gambino to Zedd. I listen at my desk at home, in the office, and on public transportation.

Four things really mattered to me when I upgraded to the QC25: sound quality, noise cancelling, comfort, and the portability. So I'll skip aesthetics and the other features that you can easily read about. And I'll tackle each of those four critical points in this review, naming a winner in each category.

Sound Quality Winner: QC25

"Summary – I have tried many different earbuds in search of the perfect set. Some of the earbuds I have used ..." - by Amazonuser
This is a review of the Sony MDRXB50AP Extra Bass Earbud Headset.

Summary – I have tried many different earbuds in search of the perfect set. Some of the earbuds I have used include Bose, Shure, ATH, etc.. In short, I have learned a valuable lesson. What makes for a great earbud is fit (comfortable), amount of non-distorted bass as well as quality. To me, each earbud I have tried had an issue of some sort. Bose is nice and clear, yet lacked bass in my opinion which I like. The Shure 215K I purchased was very clear, had a nice bass but took too long to place in the ear and get a good fit. (The Shure are an over the ear type vs. an in ear with cord hanging down.) The ATH CRK10 felt a little heavy in the ears, however, provided a well-balanced sound.

"Awesome headphones that are actually over-ear!" - by Dave (New Jersey, USA)
First off, this review is for the Audition PRO aptX LL headphones. Most of the reviews I read on this page are for the Audition aptX headphones, so I wanted to provide some insight into the higher tier of the two products.

I am not an audiophile by any stretch of the imagination. I just love listening to music while on my (bluetooth-enabled) computer and I was tired of wires getting in my way while wearing headphones. After doing a lot of research on bluetooth headphones, I originally bought another pair of headphones that were advertised as over-ear headphones but were actually on-ear headphones. On-ear headphones do NOT work for me. They hurt my ears and are very uncomfortable to wear.

COMFORT: After that disappointment, I sprung for these Audition Pro aptX LL headphones. They were about double the price, but as it turns out they were well worth the extra cost. ... full review
"The best headphones I have ever used! Buy Them. You'll love them." - by kc2pxp (Syracuse)
The best headphones I have ever used. I use these on a daily basis. I run with them in and they do not come loose or fall out. I work out with them in . I use them for hours at a time doing yard work, shopping etc. I wear them inside my motorcycle helmet (I know you are not supposed to) and they do not hurt your ears. The ear bud is soft like a gummy bear. The sound quality is awesome for the price. I use thees with my Samsung S7 Edge and I can play, pause, skip tracks and volume up/down from the remote buttons on the right ear cable. I have owned this model for years. I still have my old set and they still work.

I listen to a wide variety of music ranging from classical piano, rock, pop, oldies, to heavy metal and the sound ... full review
"My favorite earbuds for sport and general listening, though some undesirable changes from the earlier IE2 model" - by StormJH1
I purchased the Bose SoundSport in-ear headphones because I either lost on vacation or severely misplaced within my house my Bose IE2 set after using and LOVING them for 4 years. The IE2 was basically the same product, but the earbuds were black and silver (and slightly larger). Simply put, they were the most comfortable and best-sounding earbuds I have ever used, and I have tried A LOT of sub-$100 options. But the IE2 was discontinued/replaced by this models, and this one has the volume and play/pause control for Apple devices, so I decided I would try it out.

In terms of sound quality, the SoundSport earbuds perform exactly like I remember my beloved IE2 set. Pretty much every earbud on the market tries to promote its low end capabilities with buzz words like "EXTRA BASS", but the Bose sets really deliver. Actually they have outstanding ... full review
"Great headphones for the price" - by Amazon Customer
I think these headphones feel and sound great. I think they easily have more bass than my $150 Bose in-ear headphones, and they are very comfortable and secure to wear. My only complaint is that the microphone is way too far away from your face, so you have to use the provided clip to hold it up closer to your mouth. It would have been much better if they had put the mic much closer to one of the headphones, instead of so far down on the cable. So, if you plan on talking much, maybe these aren't the best headphones. Otherwise, they're great. Sidenote: the DO work with PS4.
"Wow!!" - by Michael Kilhullen (Stewartsville, NJ USA)
Given the price, I didn't expect much for sound quality. Man, was I wrong!! This headset is comfortable to wear and sounds incredible. I bought this for my daughter, but I'm buying another pair for myself. I highly recommend this product!
"Most comfortable over ear headphones I've put on" - by Amazon Customer
Bought them as a gift and my roommate loves them. I've borrowed them a couple times.. Most comfortable over ear headphones I've put on.
Comparing these to other over ear headphones I've tried..
I used to have the Bose and I don't think you can beat Bose. I loved those damn headphones. I don't want to spend another 300 though.
If we're talking about spending 300 on headphones, I'd rather buy three pairs of these Sonys versus getting a pair of beats. Beats are garbage in my opinion, all brand recognition without the actual quality. The audio range is just not clean.

For the money, I couldn't have been more happy with these headphones. Very nice bass, super comfortable.
"Beats v.s Bose" - by Matt (LAS VEGAS, NV, US)
I initially bought Beats Studio wireless and I couldn't wait to try them out. I was debating between these Bose and the Beats studio for awhile. I feel the Beats look better than Bose, but in my opinion looks are the only thing Beats do better than Bose. Beats have quite a reputation of quality and performance, and when I first put them on and tried them out I thought "huh, well maybe something is wrong with this pair". Then I thought "maybe it really is only good for bass", so I played some bass heavy music, but was still very disappointed. The sound was muddy and weak. I returned them and bought the Bose. There is not even a comparison between the two, the Bose sound crystal clear, and the highs-mids- and lows are head and shoulders above the Beats. ... full review
"Better than my 150 dollar beats (see review)" - by Karl
These are better value than my 150 dollar beats. The sound is a bit worse and the noise cancelling is also a bit worse but for 40 dollars these are really good value. The seller could easily sell these for 60 or 70 dollars. Highly recommended. I like that they charge with micro usb AND still work without any battery power (just no noise cancelling).
