"it's a simple on off switch. you can set ..." - by Kindle Customer
it's a simple on off switch. you can set the point/distance at which it changes but there is no middle ground. I though they had a variable voltage output but they don't... just on/off

"Works as it should" - by Peter R. (Washington, DC)
Works as it should. NOTE: if you solder the jumper pad for the re-trigger then you need to cut the trace on the other pad or it won't work at all. The instructions don't mention this, and aren't really clear about what "re-trigger" means.

"I recommend keeping the setting as dark as possible and they ..." - by Stef (SEATTLE, WA, US)
I have used these break beam sensors on several builds and they work perfectly. I've primarily used them for interactive games where I needed to know when a player hit a certain section of a course. I recommend keeping the setting as dark as possible and they really have to be lined up almost perfectly. I ordered two and one pair was a little finicky but overall I love working with these things.

"come with a nice package and both work as expected" - by Buyer
This review is for the IR sensors, come with a nice package and both work as expected. The free standard shipping delivered the package from NV to CA in 4 days. Hard to find the exact pinout for the reference, but it seems matching with the cable on the servo I had and the yellow(signal/output) in the description is more like orange. Great customer support and communication, without problem getting responses from them. The performance is typical with the other IR sensors I purchased. Facing the screw hole, clockwise to increase the sensitivity and the other way to reduce it. It seems the sensitivity affects more to the shining objects, i.e. metal ruler and has no effect to the matte objects, like paper. The matte surface is always detected at 8~9cm, regardless of the adjustment. Tested with a black textile surface and it works as well. Both sensors are not ... full review

"Nice circuit" - by Warren Roth (Florida)
I've only tested one of this batch but all arrived on time and individually wrapped in anti static envelope. I've used this circuit from another manufacture before and all worked very well. I expect these to do the same. Although made for digital controller with a 3 v output, it's easy enough to use a transistor and pick up a relay

"Used for Samsung icemaker repair" - by Jesus A. Perez (Houston, TX USA)
I used the emiting component to repair a Samsung Frenchdoor refrigerator's icemaker. Samsung does not sell this part separately so hey want tou to buy the whole auger. A little bit of research pointed me to this product and the fixing cost was 1/10th of the whole auger element. It's been 2 months since I repaired it and it's still running fine!

"Great Product" - by Jon Bachman
I'm using this to control an Amp and a Blue-Ray player inside an oak cabinet. It works great. The IR receiver works best from a distance if it is positioned so that the led is visible (biggest side).

"Works good!" - by CRK on Bellevue Ave (Seattle, WA)
This remote works fine. I’m using it with a different IR sensor and no problems at all. There is no documentation for the coding, so you’ll have to run something like IRDump, which comes with the arduino “IRremote” library to get the codes for each button.

"not only in the car" - by monica ts lo (LAKE FOREST, CA)
Easy to use! Very good design, the combination of wireless charging function and mobile phone holder is very creative. It is very convenient to use on the car. There is no need to put a lot of things in the position of the air outlet. The charging speed is fast, the phone is not hot.The charging speed feels like charging with the original data cable. but it is more convenient than the original cable, because it does not need the data cable at all, just put it on and you can charge it. Works well. satisfaction!

"A MUST HAVE for any standing or room scale setup!" - by Scott
Got this for what I think is a fair price of $60 and absolutely recommend for any standing VR experience, as facing the opposite direction with only 2 sensors always resulted in mistracking and completely breaking immersion. With 3 sensors tracking is flawless in any direction, and allows far greater immersion and tracking. For me it was a no brainer, and $60 was a small price to pay for the difference in performance.

"Identical to original" - by Alana (ELIZABETHTOWN, NEW YORK, US)
I bought this for our Wii a couple months ago. We have not had a single problem from this sensor. I don't foresee it breaking or not working. It appears to be identical to the original sensor that came with the Wii game. The plug wire is long and thin just like the original and the I like it !

"This device is a proximity sensor. Point the Ir ..." - by Greg A. Toews
This device is a proximity sensor. Point the Ir emitter and sensory at something and when that something is removed (no longer reflecting IR back to the sensor), this device closes the circuit and turns on whatever is plugged into it. Use case is LED lighting in cabinet or closet. Range is about 5 inches.
