"It was very interactive and the kids loved it. Weread this book over and over and ..." - by Michelle
I purchased this book for students in my classroom (with multiple disabilities). We read this book and the students were able to push the buttons to hear the animal sounds. It was very interactive and the kids loved it. Weread this book over and over and the kids did not tire of reading and the sounds played well throughout.

"It is a great interactive book that gets the kids laughing and interacting ..." - by Erin Richburg
As a teacher, I use this all the times with students. It is a great interactive book that gets the kids laughing and interacting with the text. It is a simple plot line and the kids beg me to read this book over and over with them. The kids love the main character, Larry. If you a re looking for a fun book that gets children interacting with the story, this is it!

"My favorite book for toddlers! Love, love, love." - by N. Domanski (Wisconsin)
I just purchased 2 new copies of this great book. It is my favorite book for toddlers. I'm currently a nanny for two different families, and this book is a hit with a 15 month old and also a 21 month old. The pictures are bright and colorful, and each page has a theme. The flaps are really sturdy which is so important. I suggest having an adult open each flap first and carefully creating the crease before giving it to a child. Endless fun.

"EXCELLENT way to introduce books to your baby!" - by Lorene (Marietta, GA USA)
This is my son's very first favorite book. I introduced it to him when he was 3 months old. The large, high-contrast images kept him interested, the touch-and-feel parts let him interact with the book, and the thick pages were easy for him to turn. There are children who begin kindergarten with no idea what to do with a book -- which way is up, what to do with the pages, etc. This is a fun way to get your child used to books. I give this book to all new mommy's. (This is probably an unnecessary hint, but: Begin reading the book by saying "What kind of kisses do you like?" Then turn each page..."Do you like sticky dog kisses?" "Do you like velvety cow kisses?" etc.)

"What a cute little book! Each page has missing ..." - by S. Holder (California)
What a cute little book! Each page has missing round items that need to be filled it with Cheerios. I wish the book was a few pages longer, but still cute.

"Great book...especially for active little ones!" - by Nicole (Wauconda, IL, United States)
This is a great book. My daughter got Flutterby Butterfly (same book...different illustrations and text) when she was 6 months old and she LOVES it. She's now 20 months old and it is still a favorite...though she can work the pages herself now very easily and she likes to point to things in the illustrations and say the words. When her cousin was turning 1...we got THIS book for him (more of a boyish theme). His parents say that he loves it just as much as Allison loved her Flutterby Butterfly book. He was one who had a hard time sitting still to read books so we thought some books like this would get him interested...and they HAVE! So great for little ones!

"Our son's favorite" - by skiteach
Our 16 month old loves this book. It's been a bedtime favorite for many months now, but I suspect his preference has little to do with the sparse story or the cool (and somewhat creepy) pop up pictures, and everything to do with the dramatic (and also somewhat creepy) voices his daddy uses for each character. This gets our vote as a quick and fun read that doesn't feel burdensome when your toddler asks for it for the bazillionth time.

"DINOSAUR MUSEUM IS UNFORGETTABLE" - by SONDRA PERRAULT
We purchased "The Dinosaur Museum" as a gift for a 10 years old boy who likes to read. We did not expect to be the type of book it was but proved so interesting the we had to read and view from cover to cover. It is very impressive how the book acually come alive as you turn the page. We had no idea at the variety of the species in the pre-historic era. Highly recommend for young people who want to gain knowledge.

"This is an adorable lift-the-flap board book but the reason I am giving ..." - by Yvonne
This is an adorable lift-the-flap board book but the reason I am giving it 4 stars is the size of the book. It is TINY. Nothing wrong with a smaller book but for the price you can buy a regular sized board book. Just my opinion though ;)
"Fun, interactive book for little kitchen helpers" - by Amy L.
Received this today as a gift for my two-year-old, and he's had me read it to him four times so far! He loves "helping" me cook, especially when I make pancakes, so this was right up his alley. He loves how interactive the book is, with its wheels and pull tabs and whatnot. I like that the tabs are thicker, almost as thick as the board book itself, so they seem less destructible than other books with paper pulls. The illustrations are beautifully done, very simple and colorful. It's not a story, it really is just a recipe: a list of ingredients and instructions divided into several pages, but the way it's done is so engaging and fun to look at, my son couldn't get enough. We can't wait for more in this series!

"Press Here the game is as brilliant as the book." - by Emira
Brilliant game. This is going to be a new classic. Truly a game for all ages; no artistic ability needed but an intuitive visual logic is engaged when you play. Played with my husband today and can't wait to play with my kids at school; I am a K-5th art teacher and thinking of buying a few boxes so we could have "Press Here" art party. Herve Tullet is refreshingy brilliant.

"A one year old's favorite book" - by YellowRoseTX (northeast Texas)
For my just-turned-one year old grandson, who absolutely loves this book; it's his favorite of the three board books I got him for Christmas. A very sturdy book for him to look at on his own.. Very engaging for him, and to read with him. He's at that age of learning and beginning to say words, so this is a great book to start with. His favorite page is the last one, Peek a YOU and he laughs at himself in the big reflective mirrored page. His other favorite page is the Peek a ZOO with all the animals. We point to them and name them. He will open this book himself to these pages in particular. Highly recommend for a great book experience and a nice size for him to hold onto and turn pages himself.

"Nice book" - by MsSunshine1017
Nice book! I wish it didn't say "my first" because this is good for older kids too. My kids were 5, 10 and 11 when we did a unit study on the human body and this book was used to review after we discussed each system. It covers a lot and has little fact boxes in several places on each page, so not simply coloring. Very pleased and at three dollars, it's a great deal.
