headers look great, fit great, have thick flanges, beautiful welds, and are stainless. the only real downsides are that they don't have an o2 bung (every single other header they produce has this) and the bolt on reducers are 2 1/4 instead of 2 1/2 like the collectors (all their other headers that have bolt on reducers are 2 1/2). that being said if they came with the 2.5 reducers with the o2 bungs in them like the other products they offer then they would be perfect. That being said they are a killer product at a great price. I would recommend them to anyone.

Headers look great. Fit sug to the engine. If using any trans as in th-350,400, 700r4, 96 and down 4l60e, powerglide the ears on the bell housing will have to be trimmed off for the headers to fit. Factory plug wires will not fit with the headers.

I would give this 5 stars but the clamps included in the kit are a bunch of POS. Out of the 6 I tried to install just 4 to get my Y pipe together and 2 the bolt stripped quick, one I had to take the spacer on top off and then it worked. The last clamp the bolt broke in two. Other than that beautiful kit I am going to have mine welded together and it will stay on my car forever unless I go turbo. These with my SLP CAI will wake my z28 up to about 340rwhp.

using these on a 53 chevy LS swap with an s10 frame. the engine mount location is the same used on a standard s10 LS swap - about 3" back from the factory mounts with setback plates.

I can't speak to fitment with the s10 cab as I don't have one anymore but I can say the fitment in general with these - and for my use is great. solid quality parts, good looking welds and all at a stupidly good price.

these will require rerouting the wiring to the starter as it's too tight to sneak that by the header in the factory location from the back of the tranny.

it also looks like they won't work with the factory oil sensor in the oil pan - heat tape *might* work there but it's darn close.

Used them on my 87 silverado 4x4 with a 5.3 ls. I kept the 700r4. The o2 bung in the drivers side had to be clocked because of interference with the shift linkages. Other than that they worked great.

The welding is very well done on these, and the quality of these headers are fantastic. They could improve when it came to grinding out the inside of the tube where it meets the manifold. There were a few parts where the welder must have strayed the handle a bit, but it only harmed the finish. This is a very nice polished finish by the way.
The v band connecter is also good, and perfect for my ls swap on my nova.
There were a few problems at first with the steering rack, but after hoisting the engine to pre bolt it, the headers fit right in. The driver side exhaust dumps a bit too close for comfort to my subframe, but a quick mandrel bend clears it.
Keep in mind the 72 nova I have is the same subframe and components as a first gen camaro, so all if this applies to ... full review

Im not sure what the other reviewer is doing with theirs, but these fit my 1969 Chevelle with LS3 perfectly. They fit so good that I was able to fire the engine without any gaskets and they aren't even leaking.

I have a 1969 mustang with a T5 transmission and these fit perfect they’re a lot lighter than my hooker headers the flange is thick so no exhaust leaks anymore of course I hade to hammer the driver side so I could get cleanernce from the steering box but I mean that’s with everything long tube and they don’t hang super low it might be a bit of a struggle to connect a complete exhaust system but not impossible and for the price it was a steal... loves these headers

Cheap, visual pinhole in one of the headers. I'll repair it and use it but beware. The v-band clamps are junk also
