"Awesome pan!" - by Amruta
I bought this pan several months ago on a whim. I did not expect to, but I absolutely love it! I don't usually use it for making Abelskievers, but Appe (an Indian version of rice cakes) and I must say they turn out beautifully every single time.
The pan requires little to no oil, heats uniformly, and is very easy to clean. I am even considering buying another one so I can make 14 pancakes at a time. :)

"Good Quality" - by Mary L. Hill (Los Angeles, CA)
Perfect for eggs. Pancakes too. I measured 2 tablespoons of batter into the indentations and that was just the right amount.

"Nice pan with a fun side for the kids" - by Harley Ryder (Northern California)
This is a nice pan for making the grandkids pancakes. They love the faces imbedded in each one. They use syrup to decorate the faces. One grand baby said "her pancakes were wearing makeup" as she decorated the eyes and mouths, it was quite comical. The only difficulty is when its time to turn them, but we took care of that. Have an electric griddle or another pan pre-heated along side the cooktop, when the batch of smileys are ready, flip them over onto the waiting pre-heated surface to continue cooking. Also the directions say to use a cooking spray, so do not leave that step out or they will be difficult to remove when taking them out. We make the batter just a tiny bit thinner and put it in a squeeze bottle, that makes it much easier to fill the molds. I also will carefully highlight the features ... full review

"its amazing. BUT they did not put the package inside ..." - by Gr
been using the takoyaki machine for a week now, its amazing. BUT they did not put the package inside another box, I've read an 1start comment complaining about that, and its true. I'm only buying it for myself so it didn't bother me. Just keep it in mind if you were gonna buy it as a gift. Other than that it works perfectly, I don't turn on the highest setting usually leave it at 400 and let it slowly cook while I turn. Plus, skip the 'takoyaki picks' your ordinary skewers will do the trick just fine. As for mayo sauce I've found that making a mixture of 1 spoonful mayo, 2tsp sugar 2tsp rice vinegar, some onion powder, tastes better than Japanese mayo.

"perfect for portion control or a one person household" - by Booklover
This is a great little griddle for one person. Unless you want to buy a griddle for each person to use. It cooks one hamburger patty, or similar item. You can cut up a bit of steak and some veggies and make a "stir fry". This makes it very good for portion control.

I also discovered that my prepworks biscuit cutters (bought here from amazon: [[ASIN:B00FOI40XQ Prepworks by Progressive Biscuit Cutters - Set of 7]]) are a big help. The largest cutter is the perfect size to cut bread so it fits exactly inside the griddle, so making cooked sandwiches is much easier.

One of my favorite recipes goes like this. Take one piece of bread, use the largest biscuit cutter to make it round. Butter both sides of the bread and have one egg handy. Take a smaller cutter and cut a hole ... full review
"Great product but cheaper in stores!!" - by Ozee (San Diego)
Love this handy single person waffle maker! I love they waffles are the perfect size to pop into the freezer for use later... just stick them into the toaster in the morning n voila!!

I got to know about this product from a friend who found it at her local Home Goods. When I looked it up on Amazon right away as I usually do for pretty much everything in life, found it to be significantly costlier! So I went off to my nearest Home Goods and picked it up for $7.99 !!!

What a steal... they also have the mini-grill and mini-griddle for the same price.

"Does not work and sucks to clean" - by Amazon Customer
This product sounds very cool and oh how I wished it worked. I literally used the biggest/flattest pan i could find in tge store and it still didnt work. All of my standard pans at home where to small. I used alot of cooking spray but they still stuck. The edges of the mold still lifted even with the huge flat pan. I added a picture of my large standard pan compared to the one i was using so you can see how large it is and it still epic fail.

"worked perfectly!" - by Mom in Boston (Boston, MA United States)
After a vacation in Amsterdam, my family and I wanted to make poffertjies at home. I read advice in some blogs that non-stick pans really are easier to use, and I wasn't sure I wanted to invest twice as much money in a cast iron version, though I am usually a big fan of cast iron. I have to say, this is light, easy to store, and worked perfectly. Just don't use a metal fork to turn them!

"Sprinkle pancakes for breakfast anyone?" - by Mgr_of_my_minions (Boston, MA)
First time using them today! So far it was a success using it. It releases easily even without cooking spray. By far it's the easiest mold compared to my unicorn or dinosaur mold i have, those are more tricky to work with. The handles make it easy to flip over and continue cooking. Definitely buying more as Christmas gifts.

"These are great for making consistent pancakes" - by Laura Timpson
These are great for making consistent pancakes. However, be aware that you don't get all four shapes for that price - you have to choose the two you want. Don't make the same mistake I did by not seeing that. This is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars.

"Can be messy but very cute!" - by Heidi G.
My kids really loved this. The only thing is there is really no way to turn the pancakes over so you have to dig them out once they're halfway done and turn them over and place them on a regular cooking pan so they cook all the way through. It can be messy at first but they turn out great and it's really fun for the kids (8 to 11).

"A must have for toddlers" - by EG (Baltimore, MD)
Great for pancakes.
Also good for sunny side up eggs, though they leak a little if the pan isn't perfectly flat. Not enough to mess with the shape and I got around it with pressing on the side.
Whatever makes my toddler eats without fuss is a five star in my book :)
