"AWESOME set of beginner books for an early reader!" - by Kelly C. (Minneapolis, Minnesota)
Super happy with this set of early readers. We have a couple set of BOB books and I was looking for something different for “first” books that included sight words. BOB books are great don’t get me wrong, but I was honestly just a little tired of them and looking for another set that had more color and were different...

These books are a great little size and come in a sturdy box with holder. The pictures are bright and colorful! I love that each book works with certain sight words and the words are repeated throughout. Good way to practice sight words “in practice” while reading as opposed to just learning sight words via flash cards. Would definitely recommend this set of early readers. Will look into other Scholasitc reader sets.

"May I Please Have a Cookie is now one of her favorite books. I know all children are different" - by Stacey
My 21 month old daughter loves books. I have a bunch of books and I recently ordered about 30 picture books for her age. May I Please Have a Cookie is now one of her favorite books. I know all children are different, but at least for my child this book is very enjoyable. I'm not sure what it is about the book, but it works. She enjoys smelling the cookies and pretending to eat the cookies and pretending to cry. She is also saying please now along with the book. I'm sure your child will love this book too. Some other recommendations based on her favorites are: Hop on Pop, The Very Busy Spider and Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?

"A Delightful Book for Children ages 5-9" - by Natalie Barnes (Oceanside CA USA)
The story is very clever, with beautiful writing. The illustrations are gorgeous, each page a painting. The author presents the moral lesson without demeaning the protagonist, supporting characters or the reader. It's a timeless story and one of the best I've read in a long time. There is much fodder within the pages for discussion with your children afterwards. (Hardcover edition)

"3 year old loves it" - by Amazon Customer
I love this book! My daughter loves this book she takes it with her everywhere she goes and the little handle makes that super easy and cute. Better than wipe clean brand of books because you can use any dry erase market and it wipes away perfect so don't worry about loosing the marker it came with.

"Cute And Fun" - by C. Curran
It is a cute book that rhymes and has colorful fun pictures. I gave it four stars because I thought it might be a little over the heads of some children due to a question the author asks at the end of the story. But you would know your children better then I, so I decided to post the whole story below so you can be the judge for yourself. Here goes:

This is a riddle about Miss Milly. Can you guess why she is so silly? She likes green. She does not like red. She likes butter. She does not like bread. She likes seeds. She does not like flowers. She likes umbrellas. She does not like showers. She likes alligators. She does not like mice. She likes snowballs. She does not like ice. She likes needles. She does not like to sew. She likes grass. She does not like ... full review

"Perfect jokes every time!" - by WashShopper
We got this for our 6 year old because he was into telling jokes. He loved this book. It's one of the better joke books on Amazon (we've tried many of them). The pages are bright and colorful, the jokes are relevant and understandable.
