"Dimensions are not as advertised" - by Delux
A little bigger then expected. 15" tall, 15" wide 8" deep. The dimensions left by reviewers and description are deceiving. I wish it was a little bit shorter, but I'll update this review later.

"If you need a good quality large bag for lots of various tools at a great price look no further!" - by Adam
So I bought this bag as a replacement for the older version of this [[ASIN:B000Q5PHGQ Stanley 518150M FatMax 18-inch Tool Bag]] Stanley Fatmax bag that had been a mess and overflowing for a while now. I use this bag to house tools and enough hardware and parts for small-medium sound and lighting installation/troubleshooting. The Stanley, while able to hold a lot and held up well, was impossible to keep organized as there were, for me, nowhere near enough ways to contain individual items. Tools would also tend to fall out easily as most of the pockets were external and not very tight. So the zippered pocket design of this bag seemed awesome. After doing my research this bag seemed like the best thing for the money and based on all the great reviews I bought it. Like others, I am impressed with the size and capacity of the bag, its ... full review

"Great for the tradesman but great for home too" - by John
I'm an industrial electrician and my tool bag was starting to get way too heavy to carry around for trouble shooting. I've had my share of tool pouches before but none of them ever really seem to hit the spot. Either they are too shallow and my longer tools end up sticking out almost sideways, or they are too small and I can only cram a few basic tools in there. This pouch is the best by far in regards to depth and pockets, and it also has a measuring tape mount, and a electrical tape chain.

Just to give you an idea, here's what I normally carry in this:
-Phillips screw driver
-1/4" flat tip long screw driver
-3/8" tip hammering screw driver
-11 in 1 screwdriver
-Channel Lock 420 and 440
-16' measuring tape
-Electrical tape
-Electricians scissors
-3/8" and 7/16 nut drivers
-Greenlee torpedo level
-Greenlee mini bubble level (no dog)
-Fluke T5-1000
-Klein crimpers
-6 inch needle nose ... full review

"Very nice for a big and tall man" - by Karem M. Bayron Silva (Puerto Rico)
Was a git for my husband. He is big and tall man. It is very difficult to find a good messenger bag that fit a big man. This one does. He is very happy with the messenger. He uses it everyday to go to work.

"I'm super stoked to get it" - by Amazon Customer
Just ordered my very first tool bag and after hours of reading and talking to people I chose this bag. I'm super stoked to get it, and see how much better it is than the husky bag that tools keep falling out of. 4/19 just got my bag and a day early, so that impressed me. This bag is definitely built heavy duty. The zippers work flawlessly and smooth. Looking forward to getting this beast in the field. Very professional looking

"1537 - decent design, a bit too small" - by Anaeee
The reviews here are actually mixed up between 2 separate products - The larger 1539 tool bag and the smaller 1537. The picture on the front page is actually the larger 1539 bag.

I purchased the 1537 - the smaller one. Its ok. I had a problem fitting my tools in the pockets in the zippered flap section - some were too small in width, and there wasnt enough height. I wish the whole flap section had another inch of height to it. I left some of the outside pockets empty - because they are so short - I don't want anything tumbling out. This means I have to load up the center of the bag - ratcheting screwdriver, long screwdriver, cutter, hammer, level, 12 inch wrench, 10 inch wrench, bag of doodads and mask. I can't zip the center section. I hate ... full review

"Versatility Plus!" - by Jan Paul Bildzukewicz
I am very happy with this bag. I bought it to serve as a book bag, so I was a little concerned because some of the customer reviews seemed to indicate that the size was a little smaller than expected. For the price I decided it was worth the risk so I ordered it. The bag arrived as promised - on a Sunday! I was pleasantly surprised by the size and appearance. I couldn't be happier.

"Great Backpack a Must have for service techs" - by Michelle and Brian
I'm a HVAC contractor and have used clc backpacks and have 2 of them in the last 2 years, I bought this bag because the clc bag is starting to rip inside, it is still working and passing it down to my van bag for my employee to use and trying to set up like my bag that way when my employee and I use the tools we know rite where the tools are in each bag. From opening the box to the new backpack the only thing I didn't like was the weight of the bag but its not too bad once you fill it with tools and wear it on your back, the only other thing is the price but if it lasts 2 years its the same as buying a cheaper bag every year. It feels really stable on my back and the first service call I ... full review

"Just got mine!" - by BestCoast
Gotta say... This is exactly what I was looking for! The leather is quality. This isn't padded "thick" leather from China like my Fossil bag, it's leather on leather. People might think the leather is thin because we are used to leather things being big, bulky and thick. Mine is a little stiff due to its newness so I cant wait for it to loosen up with use and age. I fit my 17" Sager NP9377 (18" x 3") laptop in it - and could have fit another one if I wanted. Don't worry about size. And there's plenty of pockets for files, tablets, notepads, etc. I will be using this for moving my laptop daily so I will have to add some padding in the bottom. Added padding and a soft case and I feel pretty good about this protecting my "investment".

To whomever complained about the smell - give ... full review

"After 3 mos. use - this gets a 10." - by M. Skeen
Now that I have been using this for a few months I can say, without a doubt, awesome! I am an HVAC & plumbing contractor and this tool tote is the best I have owned. Perfect combination of space and pockets. Mine is pretty heavy with tools, but even carrying on one shoulder, the straps are comfortable. Best I have found.

"Super happy 6 year old!" - by Katie O’ (Washington)
I purchased this for my 6 year old niece for Christmas. She was over the moon about it. Beware if you are purchasing it as a lunch bag...it is quite small. It will possibly fit a sandwich, ice pack and 12oz drink, but it will be maxed out... This is due to the gate mouth design and how it collapses inward when zipped.

"Coverbag with Marlow White stitched on it." - by Jeffrey Benson (Hawaii, United States)
This is the same bag as the Coverbag model (including the coverbag logo on the side) with the addition of the Marlow White stitching on the front. Coverbag doesn't currently sell on Amazon, (though they used to). I had owned a Coverbag model which was stolen, so I bought this as a replacement, more out of curiosity to see how it was different. It's not. So if you like Marlow White then I guess its a plus, otherwise its no different than other product. Both are good quality and work well. My reduction of a star is due to poor advertising of the product.
